Obsessed with politics and liberal progressivism above any other aspect of the deen. A money masjid - used to raise money for pockets in the community, or other locations like Palestine. You will rarely see any money from this masjid given to locals in need. Like the case with most mosques around here and in the USA... The imam was bragging online about how he makes new converts, but what has he done for those trying to maintain their true deen after? There are too many people in this world who will encourage your initial convert to Islam only, but leave you stranded after you've already crossed over and lost everything. Friends, family, jobs, etc. All about the numbers, the money, and the political image here. The fakest mosque. I know people who live closer to other mosques but come here just to fraternize with the doctors and rich people. Take that info for what you will. That is the kind of appeal they attract. I’m sure there are some lovely people at this mosque, but most can only go as far as to Follow the Leader.
Mash Allah this place is so great for gathering and shek Emad is an amazing person and blessed mentor.
Very pleasant experience of meeting with Imam Dr. Imad Enchassi. He is very friendly, caring and welcoming personality. Especially, he is great in introducing and welcoming new faces in the community. Well maintained and well managed mosque . I enjoyed offering prayers here.
Well organized and clean . We always have a great spiritual experience at this mosque. Imam delivers the sermon in English and is pleasant to converse with .
Went here. Doors locked… No hours are listed….
Nice and peaceful place Thanks
Wonderful food pantry. Offer many items from Trader Joe's such as breads, vegetables, salads and a meat item. Sometimes they have eggs. Friendly volunteers. They also have a diaper pantry. They are open 12-2 Th, Sat & Sun. Line usually starts about an hour before. On your first visit bring photo id & utility bill. Bring id's for all family members. Also you need to bring your own bags, box or whatever to place your its in...they do not provide bags.
My first visit here, with my daughter. Was here to give blood to the American Red Cross. In teaching my daughter different ways to give of time and self, there was a real silver lining here at this beautiful mosque. While giving blood I was able to listen in on the teachings that day, and the leader spoke about being on a retreat with Christians, and the purpose of this retreat was to learn from one another. He learned on this retreat how much the evangelicals he met gave more in a daily basis moving to third world countries, giving up creature comforts to help others, building infrastructure, etc. I was very inspired by his story, and how important it is for each one of us to be more grateful, and give. He was inspiring others, myself included.
Disagree to the comment about anti American teachings there... I attended this mosque regularly for two years, I found it always positive. Imam highly encourages good relationship among inter faith & initiated many projects to help people regardless of their religion, skin or any other beliefs. Highly recommend this.
Friendly volunteers! They make you feel very welcome no matter what faith you may be!!! The lady in charge is so friendly at the food pantry! She makes you feel right at home!!!
