The Iraqi kebab at this place is definitely like no other , every time I go there to have this meal I feel like I visited someone and was cooked at home , The owner is so welcoming and clearly very loved by his customers because he has such a special personality that makes you keeps going there , his manager is A hard-working man that make sure everything it’s taken care of , very chill casual place away from the huge common hookah bars
Have been to this place 3 times. I really like their Iraqi style kabob and it’s probably one of the best tasting kabobs I’ve had in northern Virginia. But the service is really frustrating. 1st visit: dined in with a friend and the food was great. However, our order was messed up and the waiter didn’t check on us for a while. The receipt had 18% service charge already added. I would understand if we had more than 6 people, but having that much fee added to just two people is excessive considering there is a space for tip on top of the service charge. Which I tipped additional in case if the service charge didn’t go to the waiter. 2nd and 3rd were carry outs. Called their phone 3-4 times with no one answering it. Had to come in person to make the order and waited 20 mins the first time and almost an hour the second time. Both of the carry outs were missing fries. The place has great potential but service really needs to improve and expect to not have something missing from my order every time. Would be great if we could place order ahead of time over phone or website.
The best food I have had in years. Great food and nice atmosphere. Highly recommend it.
Very nice place. Delicious food and drinks. Very friendly and helpful team. Very good Hookah. Hassan / Zaid owners will do everything possible to be sure that customers are comfortable and having a good time. Give this amazing place a visit and you won't regret it. Enjoy!
There are 3 hookah bars in the area within walking distance of where I live. This was the second one I have tried. The reviews were mixed between a bunch of five stars and a couple 1 stars so as usual I’m going to give an honest assessment that’s what I do. Walked in on a weeknight. Not super busy, got a table straight away. Got the chicken shwarma and a mango hookah. The hookah was ok I mean nothing to write home about. What struck me was the difference in treatment of who appeared to be regulars and me and my husband. The regulars got their food earlier despite arriving later, and the server was way more attentive to their table, only swinging by ours to 1. Take our order, 2. Drop off the hookah, then 3. Drop off our food and drinks. Ran out of beverage about halfway through my meal and he never came by afterward. As for the meal, it was delicious, the rice was good and the spices on the chicken were really delicious and well balanced. I didn’t end up finishing my meal though, some other regular, a talkative woman who was chatting with me and my husband for a while, got up at some point to disappear into the back to grab a pillow they apparently save for her. As she walked away, I watched a roach saunter into her open backpack on the floor. Hubby and I immediately paid and left. I won’t be trying that third hookah bar in the area either because, funny enough, it’s like two doors down in the same building and if one of the places has roaches…. And the buildings are connected… I’m assuming that they’re going to have the same pest issues.
Asked for grill chicken but it was boiled and sprayed with season and then but on the grill for a little wasn’t the type I asked for rice wasn’t cooked
Simple, no fuss, chill place! Hookah, service, and atomosphere are excellent. If you come to just chill and hang out, you won’t be disappointed. Sabi is a gem, he is so kind and charming.
I love this place! It very chill and casual. The food is delicious! Hookah is always fresh here. My personal favorite is Gum Mint hookah and they always are very accommodating if I need any special requests for how I want my hookah or food made. Mevo one of the managers here is always well dressed, courteous and professional.
This place needs to update its information on google. So diners beware as they no longer serve any food as you might see in the pictures or menu. Only hookah and some canned drinks. We made a trip there hoping to get some serious kabob, but the server gave us the menu for hooks and rinks. When we asked for a the food menu, he simply said no food is served and kitchen is closed, adding that they’re doing some renovation or whatever.
100% better than Heat, up the street. The staff treats their hookah well. The Iraqi tea is fantastic. 100% would recommend. Skip heat go here for an experience orders of magnitude better
