Sister Hawwah has been a lead washer for the Muslim women when they die for 20 + years. She graduated from Mortuary school aspiring to be a licensed Funeral Director, InshaAllah in 2013.

Islamic Burial Services, LLC is very blessed to have a team of sisters’ who are committed to learning, implementing and sharing what they have learned of Janazah (Islamic Burial).

I am left without words. Hawwah was the nicest lady. She not only took care of our bereavement but she empathy with us. She and the staff were very professional, personable, caring and attentive. I was not familiar with the process but Hawwah walked me through it. The Littles things I didn't even think of, they were on it and made this as pleasant as it could have been during our time of bereavement. If I could give them more than stars I would. Me, my siblings and the entire family wants to express our fondest gratitude. Thank you
I highly recommend this funeral home. Hawwah and her staff has taken care of multiple family members of mine. They are professional care and very honest. There’s no other home we’d go to.
I am very disgusted by this very unprofessional Islamic funeral home. My mother Nadia died late September of this year and we were greeted with the utmost disrespect. From how insensitive and rude the two sister were I would never recommend doing business here. From yelling at us and having attitude as if our dead loved one wasn’t in front of us. OUR family whose grieving trying to make jokes and returned with negativity makes me want to throw up, and brought us more trauma. I honestly don’t know why we didn’t go to ICPC. A huge disappointment from me and my family.DO BETTER. Before you receive a lawsuit.
I would like to express my sincere thanks and gratitude to Islamic Burial Services, LLC for providing my family with outstanding funeral services for my mom. They have a perfect balance of professional and personal care. They anticipated our needs and concerns at every turn. They took care of all the paperwork that is involved after losing a loved one and also helped us plan a beautiful and personal service. The staff was punctual and prompt. They presented my mom looking like the beautiful queen that she was. I was very pleased and impressed. I highly recommend them to any newly hurting family looking to lay a loved one to rest. The entire service was very well organized thank you again.
My brothers funeral was the vision that his daughter wanted and thanks to the funeral director Hawwah Karim she made it happened my family was very pleased. Highly recommended
Sister Huwa and her staff are absolutely great. May Allah Protect them and reward themSister Huwa took the time to help with everything. She had so much patience and was so helpful. She is very honest and does everything with her heart in it. During this time of a pandemic, other Islamic services weren’t available or didn’t want to help us, we live in South Jersey so she had one of her amazing staff come all the way from Newark to South Jersey to pick my grandma up. May Allah reward him Sister Huwa broke down everything multiple times and even though I asked her the same thing over and over again she never made me feel like I was annoying and she never lost her patience with me. Her prices are very reasonable. She went through everything thoroughly with me. When I came to the funeral home with my family she had already called Medicaid to take care of payment arrangements. Her daughter, Sister Malika helped us out with the death certification to make sure it was right. Sister Huwa’s grandson lead the Janazah prayer. And the driver who brought her body to the finally resting place was so respectful and waited until everything was over to pay his respect, give condolences and make sure everything was okay. Sister Huwa and her staff are excellent and I recommend Islamic Burial Services. May Allah reward them and protect them. My family and I are so grateful for everything she has done for us.
This was the worst funeral I ever been to mind you I been to plenty but this would make my first Muslim funeral. First the director Hawwaw forgot we had a family car for the services. We as a family reminded her on the day we paid the services off that we have a family car for the service so please don’t forget. Yessss she still forgets on the day of the funeral making the immediate family 30 minutes late to the service.Second she got my family and another family mixed up at the reviewing which made people wonder who’s who.Third my brother name was spelled completely wrong on the front of the obituary program paper.Lastly the obituary program itself was horrible besides his name being spelled wrong the words was all smudged on the obituary program paper. BEFORE BOOKING WITH THIS SISTER PLEASE LOOK AROUND FOR OTHER AVAILABLE ISLAMIC SERVICES.

I wouldn't be doing Islamic Burial Service and Sister Hawwah justice if I didn't take the time to commend you on a job well done! The service was done with professionalism, compassion, and respect for the family that were not Muslim but wanted to respect the wishes of their loved one Arturo Omar Jones! May Allah forgive his sins and make his grave spacious Aameen!
They are so helpful and guide you during the process, For us It was hard to find a muslim funeral house but luckily we searched and found them. Sister Hawwa was so helpful and she was really concerned about our situation, we lost our baby boy Muharram while he was still 20 weeks and contacted them. They arranged everything and helped us during the process. Thank you very much, Shukran and As-Salamun Aleykum
