Island International Artists was conceived by the Foster family in 1969, with the goal of producing and distributing art for professional printmakers and painters. Located in the serenely beautiful San Juan Islands of Washington State. It is a company that exclusively represents over 40 artists and their work to thousands of galleries and art dealers worldwide. The artists that Island International Artists represent embody the style and methods of nearly every kind of artistic interest and endeavor. From technical illustrators to abstract impressionists, from realists to surrealists. Distributed through a group of knowledgeable fine art representatives they establish long term relationships with galleries and fine art dealers through personal service and education. In 1986 Island International created Black Raven Press, through careful study of traditional printmaking techniques and application of modern processes the studio was developed as an educational/production studio.
