Issaquah Middle PTSA is a private, non-profit organization with members dedicated to the service of the students, parents and staff of IMS.
Mission:
Actively collaborate with the administration to create a welcoming and vibrant academic community by providing resources to enhance the learning experience; strengthen community relationships by encouraging more family involvement; and support students, families, and staff at IMS through our programs and activities.
2016-2017 Goals:
The Issaquah Middle PTSA will:
Provide clear, concise, and timely information to the school community in order to increase participation in PTSA activities and events, by fully utilizing the website, electronic communications, bulletin board and general membership meetings each month throughout the school year.
Promote the benefits of becoming a PTSA member to increase IM PTSA membership to achieve 85%..
Work to create a strong, connected community through:
* Walkabout (goal: 75 new walkers trained in the fall) (75% Walkabout attendance)
* Outreach to new families
Support struggling students
Provide centralized access for potential volunteers and committee chairs to view all volunteer opportunities available each month on the website.
