So happy I found this place. I needed some brunch pastries and desserts for a family party. I drive by here all the time and finally came in. Everything was fresh and very affordable. Great spot to get a platter of mixed little treats! Will surely be coming back.
Best bakery in the area! They serve Xmas cookies all year round, fresh danishes and hogies with fresh rolls. I'm so glad I found them. The prices are amazing and I'm definitely going to become a regular.
Placed my roll order 2 days prior, went today to pick up my order. They tried to pass off 1/2 torps for my order of full torps. They did not have rolls for my order. I was told I can come to Trenton to meet up with them or wait till they get back. This was at 10am. I was due at a catering job in 40 minutes. Thankfully Woodbourne location had the order. Save yourself a lot of hassle and don’t order here for the Super Bowl, parties or jobs you have! They will disappoint and leave you scrambling!!
1/2 torps are my family's favorite special occasion rolls. Pastries are delicious. Particularly the slices of carrot cake.
We can't get enough of their stuff! It's been decades since there was a good old-school bakery around here that really goes above and beyond in quality. They also have hoagies served on their own bread, and those are transcendent as well. Staff is very friendly, store is clean. 10/10
The brownie cake containd walnut pieces, which are pleasant Brownie tastes old and stale, especially the chocolate icing. Brownies in McCaffrey market are fresher and cheaper.
Tiramisu was perfect for a birthday party. Love this place!
Love this bakery! Out of all the bakery’s my favorite has always been Italian Peoples. They have the best cupcakes ever!!! I always get my cupcakes from here and they are always fresh! Never had a issue with cupcakes being stale. 10/10! Always yummy.
The absoloute worst deli I've been to in a long time. I walked in and immediately recieved a subway feel, with cheap stock images of good food on the windows. They dont slice the meat fresh, and have no cabinets of said meat... The employeesmaybe Guatemalan? were friendly but there was NOTHING Italian about this place AT ALL. They claim fresh Italian bakery, but all i recieved is a stale roll for my sandwich. Barely any meat for my sandwich, and tomato slices as hard as ice cubes... Don't bother going there, waste of money...
I frequent this bakery often I work just down the street. Today I ordered a hoagie I called and placed my order usually just go there to get what I want. I was really busy at work so to save time I phoned my order in asked for a half roast beef and American cheese with lettuce tomato little bit of onion oil and vinegar with mayo on the side cut in half because I was sharing with my coworker. Picked my food up starving looking forward to eat made sure they had the on the side mayo for my coworker grabbed a water to drink paid the 11 bucks and off I went. So when I got back opened to find a what looked to be a perfectly made hoagie except for the overly spread mayo on both sides of the roll. Called and spoke to the same man who took my order told him the mistake that was done and all he said was if I brought it back he could try and get me a new one. Unfortunately I was to busy to leave work again to take back the made wrong hoagie. My coworker had already started to eat hers anyway. I had no choice but to go hungry. After work I stopped back at this store to explain what happened thinking they would fix my disappointing lunch with an offer of the right hoagie I could eat for dinner but all I got was an excuse that the woman who made it didn’t read the slip right and so sorry. So my review is for poor customer service and the 11 dollar I spent for a sorry.
