JJ's snack bar is a great place, I go there almost every weekend with family. They have a nice little playground for kids, and have great service. The ice cream is my favorite part, it doesn't take long to make and is delicious. It also is located in a great spot. There is a playground near by and a nice lake. By far my favorite place to go for ice cream!
We were very pleased with the service and the food. The taco salad was perfect and my husband had the fish fry and fries. It was more than one person could eat! Of course we had ice cream, too! Smalls, that is! They were great, too! We will definitely be back!
Best road side snack bar ever. Service is quick and friendly, food is great. You get so much. The owner is always there with a smile. Easily the best road side food bar ever. Menu offers a little bit of everything, though I recommend the taco saladFood: 5/5
I’ve seen this place packed right like a concert so on a rainy day I snuck in here. The cashier was super personable to the point I think he knew me. The owner jerry was onsite as well. Cash only so hot your ATM before you hit the shady one on site. I had a crisp 50$ from Miami in hand luckily. I ordered the fish sandwich with frys. Thing was massive, two person meal easily. Great place for the kids. Big play ground in back looks a bit outdated but kids don’t look at that kind of stuff. They hook up the Tatar sauce. The gave me a three gallon bottle and I almost keeshed it on that huge fillet. Talking to jerry the owner about cars was pretty cool.
I just moved to Ballston Spa and I gotta say, this has become my new favorite ice cream hang out spot. Really good ice cream Kid-friendliness: Has a playground next to the ice cream stand
Pretty much has everything that you want out of an Ice Cream shop and then some. A great playground for the kids! And they have a couple sugar free alternatives. Don't Miss!
The food was cooked well hamburger was done no pink meat and bigger than some places French fries was hot delicious my experience I'll come again when I'm in town Parking: Alot of spot in front of snack bar Kid-friendliness: Even a bathroom outside enough room not crowded so relaxing and enjoyable Wheelchair accessibility: You can get out of car no trouble enough room for wheelchair
It's mostly the nostalgia factor for me, however JJ's ice cream is my favorite in town. Always delicious and they have a large variety of flavors and toppings. Both hard and soft ice cream, and sundaes! I haven't had their food but their ice cream and service gets 5 stars.
