My buddy Danny and I were on our annual motorcycle trip. And when we were in town multiple people suggested JP Henry's. So we stopped, got right in and had some super amazing food. Super tasty and well presented. Our hostess was nice. Our waitress was amazing. And I can't get over how phenomenal the food was! If we make it back out to West Virginia... This will definitely be a place we stop again
Went there for a business meeting/lunch. The food was fantastic, I had deep fried green beans as an appetizer and the beer battered fish w fries. It was so good! Our server was very attentive and friendly. Will 10/10 recommend this place.Food: 5/5
Chose JP Henry’s as we were making our way north on I-77. What a very fun and cool place. Pretty extensive menu with lots of things to choose from. We both had a craving for a hamburger and they were delicious! Our server was very attentive. We will return again when we pass through next year. A solid 5 star rating.
First time here. I had the crab cake sandwich special and my wife had the Cobb salad. The sandwich was pretty good. The salad received ok rating. I thought the menu was a bit pricey, especially for lunch. Our server was great. Nice atmosphere.Food: 4/5

Thank you Google Map again for guiding us to one of the greatest restaurants. We had ridden 20 miles on bikes and we were starving and exhausted. I looked on Google Maps for restaurants and J.P. Henry’s was very pleasing to my eyes. Beautiful decor and the photos of the food and beverages was appealing to me. The location was 5 minutes from our hotel. I hope that I can describe how wonderful an experience we had at J.P Henry’s. Our wait staff was helpful and professional. We had our beverages immediately and our appetizer soon afterward. Delicious on both accounts. We had steak that was cooked perfectly to our specifications. I had broccoli and mashed potatoes that were delicious also. I was so very pleased with everything about this restaurant. We will be stopping again when we return to ride the rail to trail in Parkersburg. Thank you to everyone that made the end of our day perfect.
I was pretty happy with our meals there. The food was prepared properly and the service was good. Basically just want you want when you go out to eat.Food: 5/5
The food was excellent, service was quick. The only reason I didn't score higher is because of the sewage smell that was inside. The smell happens in older buildings in this area, like the historic Lafayette in Marietta and TLV also of Marietta. I understand it happens, but it's still horrible. The candles that were lit all over the place didn't help at all. Vegetarian options: Salads and sides Kid-friendliness: Fries, pizza, pizza rolls. Parking: Ample parking options. Wheelchair accessibility: Yes.
Lovely server, slow service, decent food. I'm a foodie. I grew up here but from out of town. First time at this place. It's super cool. Lots of room and a very cool outdoor patio that I didn't discover until later. Ordered wings and a side salad. Our server was super nice but quote slow. We were slow this time too so we were ok with it. The salad was very good. Italian dressing was good. The wings were pretty dry and most were overcooked. The fat ones were good though as they were still a little juicy. The buffalo sauce was also pretty tasty and the blue cheese was chunky. Their beer glasses seemed exceptionally big. May have been an optical illusion, I don't know but they seemed large to hold. Beer selection was decent. I'll come back. I'll try something different. Possibly a special and see what that is like.
VERY nice place....so glad to see a quality restaurant for once and a staff that didn't look like they wanted run for the door. This was the last meal of a 10 day vacation! It was a perfect steak!!! Thank you sir for building a nice place for us to eat
