Our Mission:
The beginnings of J76/Leostar started as a child spending time with my father; we spent hours and hours in the garment factories my family owned and operated locally. I learned and honed the family business and when it was time, I decided to specialize in my passion for yoga apparel and active wear and J76/Leostar was born.
J76/Leostar is a professional passion for me as owner and designer and a personal reflection of me as a wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend. My corporate philosophy is simple: I wanted to create clothing made for every day comfort and long lasting performance and I wanted to produce the clothing locally. I have a strong sense of community and supporting the local economy in Vancouver is important to me. Local production also offers maximum quality control and as factory liaison, it is immensely gratifying to see my ideas come to life on the production floor.
I specialize in yoga apparel and active wear because I am an advocate for women’s health. We need to be strong because as women, we are wives, mothers, daughters, sisters, and friends. Staying healthy is the key to happiness.
