Description

The Jackson County Sheriff's Office patrols an area of 2,801 square miles and provides services to more than 212,000 residents, as well as visitors. JCSO is responsible for law enforcement in the unincorporated areas of the county, in the White City Enhanced Law Enforcement District, and in the cities of Shady Cove and Gold Hill, by contract. JCSO also protects county courthouses and oversees the county detention facilities.

My wife and I are very impressed with the quick, professional response we got from the Jackson County Sheriff. Within 2 hours of calling we had two officers at our place to investigate a recent break-in. Both Deputy Lacer and Deputy Lenhardt couldn't have been more professional in their investigation. Thanks for doing such a great job.
We have been having an ongoing problem with a neighbor damaging our property and Deputy Cote has been handling it. He has been really friendly, he takes the time to answer all of our questions and makes us feel at ease. It really makes us feel better knowing there is proper law enforcement in our neighborhood making us feel safe. Hopefully all of this will be settled soon and we can get back to normal life. Thank you Deputy Cote and all the rest of the Jackson County Sheriffs Department!
I’ve met many Great police officers! however there is one working there who completely diminished my respect for the force. As he was overly aggressive and not against lying to the judge... other than this all the other ones I’ve met have been reasonable or even delightful. P.S. the ticket cost me so much money I had to miss a semester of school so thanks for that...
Always been professional until I witnessed your motorcycle deputies sat night at campground A at country crossings. Time for us to shut everything down, parties, generators. Sheriff's came in to help. 12 or so, 5 on motorcycles, deputy who seemed to be in charge of motorcycles said to his deputies, I quote," alright guys, let's roll through here and crack some skulls" yes, REALLY?? Then they drove their motorcycles between the campers, dodging pools and canopies. Good thing the partiers did not hear that. I have been in law enforcement. Very disappointed. Just had to let you know. You guys are supposed to defuse situations, not incite anger and violence. Did not get it on video, or deputies name. Good thing I guess. You guys do a hard job and I thank you for risking your lives to keep us safe.
Made a non-emergency call because of some discrepancy at my neighbors they had 2 sheriff's within 5-7 min check it out. Great service! And their lip sync video is awesome
I called them because I had a question that I needed to ask. So an officer called me back and was very helpful and answered my question. Thank you JCS for the help
Our Sheriff's Dept is outstanding in professionalism and performance in our county. I am so thankful for Sheriff Falls and all of the officers and staff.
Their scam artists they will beat you when you're in custody.
