My son had a kidney transplant on June 28th and it turned out successful but he said he woke up in the surgical white room where he had been transplanted but apart of all he had a amazing experience. His Mother gave him his kidney and the doctors discharged her from the hospital 3 days after the transplant and as many kids don't go to school early, he went when his school early. The surgeon is OUTSTANDING and NICE Coordinators are always on time for results of labs and the doctor is nice and is experienced
THE LITERAL WORST HOSPITAL EVER ! I’ve been coming to this hospital since I was 12 my mom actually works for the hospital as well but, in the past 2 weeks I’ve been denied service and even have help and literally had a argument with the gynecologist last night about whether or not I was WORTHY of being taken cared of. I can’t work or walk and they have the medication but she didn’t want to admit me because SHE DIDNT WANT TOO. Thank you to the kind nurse in emergency room- F who made me feel welcomed because these past couple of weeks have been HELL with Jackson HOSPITAL !
This is the most horrible hospital ever !!!!! Honestly the attention is so poor like you go begging for care. No one cares we bring in a baby that has a severe condition from 6 pm and it’s been 12 dam hours no doc no nurse comes we call and they say they coming hours passing. Staff needs either to re train to retrieve blood they pinch poor baby 6 dam times with out being able to successful retrieve anything !!!! And the only reason why we went because nearest hospital but next time is going to be Miami children hospital!!!! Me personal as an adult go to Mercy they are Wonderful there !!!! They treat you fast and as s human being !!! I am not even sure how Jackson even in business because they just get worse and worse !!!! Stay away from this hospital or any clinic and doc have a lot of ppl who complain same reason. And best luck calling the complaint line they say they will call still waiting for call from 2021 when my mom had to get treated for Cancer that was another horrible experience!!!!! All because she didn’t have insurance and had to apply for Jackson card so got stuck there!!!!! Very very bad experience and sad part no one does anything about it !!!!!
I brought my husband here tonight for his foot. He has crushed 2 toes, is bleeding non stop. They have taken x-rays & gave him antibiotics. We have been here since 9pm & are still sitting here at 4am. No one has been back into stitch him up. We were told we were waiting for the orthopedic doctor. Still have not seen him/her either.
They are all amazing, the Lung team, ICU nurses, Therapist, Ecmo team so many more people that I have never met saved my husband life, when everyone else denied him a lung transplant because he had Covid lung these team of doctors gave him a fighting chance. I'm thankful for each and everyone of them. God bless you all!
JMH ER horrible service the staff unprofessional and uneducated they all are rude!! I got there at 1 o’clock and it was 8pm still I wasn’t called. The nurses station where they take your vitals all of them were rude talking back to the patients calling security guards to take people out there was four people cry in so much pain and nothing done. When I approach a nurse for help she told me she cannot help me at all and it wasn’t her problem. I tired talking to a doctor she told the same thing not her problem. I ask for names and they didn’t want to give it to me The security guard inside the ER he heard it and he told me in front of her to report them. Here I am giving a bad review. The executive person was there as well and he heard what the doctor said to me and he didn’t say anything. Shut this place down fire everyone put a new person now and I’m going to contact the Santi‘s Governor of Florida to report this injustice and unprofessional hospital. Going to report this on social media I got videos and pictures as well. Be aware if you go to this hospital is not worth they don’t care about patients don’t go there stay away.
The ER is terrible. I spent 6 hours untreated and watched as doctors and nurses stayed on their phones, walking slow, working with no sense of urgency and they didn't bother to help any patients screaming in pain and crying. My situation was a lot smaller but I just can't believe how they didn't take anyone seriously tonight. I saw a man with intense infectious wounds have to leave entirely because they took too long. And ppl obviously near death turning pale. Do not go here if you want help. Update: the following day I called the hospital for help getting a documentation I was there because I missed work to go there for treatment, but was told that because doctors weren't there and wasn't there that night I visited which explains why I got no treatmentI couldn't get any help with a note and mid way as I asked a question regarding what I could do in this situation, the operator on the phone hung up and had a rude tone. She was rude and seemed annoyed the entire call but the hanging up on me was extremely unprofessional when I was respectful and calm the entire phone call, I understand if I was a rude person but I wasn't, this is really effected emotionally since I had such a rough night previously, I really can't believe how bad this hospital is.
Doctors and nurses are ok but you all really need to do better with timing. It doesn’t make any sense to be sitting at a hospital for 8 hours if you have already been seen by a doctor. People have things to do and jobs to get to. I can’t afford to be sitting for hours for simply nothing.
I had to go there because I hurt myself at work. The doctor at the ER did not offer to give my X-rays afterwards nor a plan of care regarding me going back to work, even with the knowledge of it being a worker’s compensation visit. It has been five days and this hospital has STILL not faxed over the X-ray to the doctor taking over my case, after multiple repeated calls. I called AGAIN today and the man who spoke to me was extremely rude and I had to literally explain to him that I, the PATIENT, was not the person who sent the fax to the hospital and that the doctor’s office was. Why would I own a fax machine personally??? These people are clueless and do not know how to work with worker’s compensation situations.
My daughter was a patient on the 6th floor west and her nurse Lisa was extremely rude and racist. The nurse refused to administer a portion of her medication and left an infiltrated IV in her arm for over 4 hours while she screamed and begged in agony for the removal of the IV. My daughter was ignored and isolated by the nurse Lisa and her supervisor Martine until the morning shift arrived. No patient should be physically and mentally tortured to the point where they lose hope, feel defenseless and begin to fear for their life. As a result of the horrific incident my daughter signed a AMA and left the hospital because she felt that dying on her own is more acceptable than being murder by the hospital staff.
