Attorney Deborah Jacboson, holds a law degree from Golden Gate University. She understands special education issues from multiple perspectives. Her vast experience as a successful lawyer and her passion representing those with special needs enables her to provide both efficient and effective representation to families of children with special needs. Ms. Jacobson has proudly represented children against school districts throughout the Bay Area, Northern California and in Washington DC; she is uniquely qualified to anticipate and understand not only the differences in each district, but the challenges that parents often face in attempting to obtain the educational services that their children need, deserve and are entitled to. Attorney, Deborah Jacobson has helped scores of parents successfully protect their child's legal right to a Free Appropriate Public Education.
Ms. Jacobson's Special Education Legal Assistant and Advocate, Lindsey Roffey, holds a Master's Degree in Education with an emphasis in Special Education, as well as a credential in Mild/Moderate disabilities, an Administrative Services credential, and a Cross Cultural & Language Develop credential. She has taught all over the state of California, in all grades, and in many different programs. She brings a unique perspective to Jacobson Education Law because she know first-hand how schools operate and has a unique intuition when a child's IEP has not been implemented. She supports Ms. Jacobson in all educational matters and helps advocate for child's rights at IEP meetings.
