***Updated mid-COVID with new pics. I love to see the place back open very safely. Same staff! New outdoor seating. Jake Moon is a huge reason why I love living in this area. Consistently fine food in a roadhouse atmosphere. You can go to bigger cities but you won't find better fare. Jake Moon knows what they're doing well and sticks with it. Affordable, generous specials and farm-to-table quality ingredients.

It is a small restaurant that makes it very cozy, has a variety of dishes including seafood. good service without waiting time ... super recommended

Delightful outdoor dining. Christina and all the other waitstaff made us feel welcome. Greek Pie and Fish fry were well done and presentation was lovely. Locally sourced greens were a nice surprise with just enough dressing. No room for dessert; but we brought some home for later. Very pleasant experience!

Jake Moon has been one of my favorite restaurants since I started eating there years ago. I would always make a point to go when visiting home while living away from the area. Chef Dan is brilliant and utilizes native seasonal ingredients, and typically will come out to the dining room to chat with customers. The ambience is a lovely country café and the food is delicious. The servers are always very accommodating.

Very hit or miss with this spot. I had good orders and bad orders. Like today the Lobster Bake was Trash!!!

Our favorite hidden gem. Food is always delicious. Definitely a hole in the wall, but it’s charm is part of why we love it. If they are busy service can be slow, however Chef Dan is in the kitchen daily and usually the only one making meals. The wait is always worth it and we’ve never had a bad meal. The staff make my husband and I feel like family.

It's a very cute place, and I would go back, but our meal was definitely less than perfect. Our server was very nice and helpful, but was clearly very new and a little overwhelmed. My food was tasty, especially the home fries, but my poached eggs were served in about a quarter cup of poaching water. My partner had biscuits and gravy, and while the biscuits were good, the gravy was so salty he could barely enjoy them. It was a mixed bag for us overall.

Really surprised by the quality of the food and the selection! Had a wonderful homemade veggie burger with homemade french fries. The bread is freshly baked and they have real maple syrup. Good selection for gluten free and vegans. Overall impressed. Service was very slow but don't go there is you're in a hurry.
