Jake's Supper Club

My Daughter, Sarah Beth & Her Girlfriend came Home to visit from Denver, CO for Labor Day Weekend. We decided to Head out to Jake's Supper Club for the Afternoon. We sat and Listened to the Band, "40 Fingers", had an Appetizer of Shrimp , and thoroughly Enjoyed ourselves. We took some Pictures down by the Lake and then said our Goodbyes. I want to Thank You once again, Jake's Supper Club for never disappointing us since we Moved into the Tainter Lake Area 27 Years Ago and I started Working there way back then. But now the time has come to Move on with our Lives, I have sold my Home and am Moving out of the Area, but We will NEVER FORGET the Good Times we had. Especially Sunday Afternoons On the Tiki Bar .

This is a supper club not to be overlooked. Excellent service and food. We were there on a busy Friday night and we were attended to in a very timely manner. The fish fry was not only fresh and delicious, but also at a very affordable price. My husband had the fish and prime rib special and he stated that it was the best prime rib that he has ever had. We will definitely return!

This was my first time going here. My boyfriend brought me in to celebrate getting a promotion. Our waiter was super friendly and great service. The old fashion with orange Jameson was delicious. The food was incredibly filling but dessert was even better. After we ate and paid our bill we went and sat down by the water for a little bit.

One of the nicest places in town. Service is great; food comes out hot. Our server Sydney did amazing with our goofy family. We had shrimp scampi with HUGE baked potato. Girls got Cajun pasta, a good kick with juicy chicken. My dad got fried chicken for a good deal too, he loved it. Mom got the French onion soup and loved it. I also love their homemade ranch.

First time here - and we’ll definitely come back. What a beautiful place both inside and out. Great old time feel inside, wide open decks with views of the river outside. Our server was top notch. Food was fantastic- we had the lemon chicken and walleye, both highly recommended esp the walleye.

I really wanted to love Jake's because it brings back memories from my youth; however in all honesty, it had both plusses and negatives. The atmosphere and service were fantastic, we had a great server and a beautiful view of the lake. The menu and food were unfortunately not up to par. Jake's cut prime rib was very small and fatty, three of our party had this experience. Shrimp Alfredo fettuccine had, count them, only three Shrimp! There was no salad or vegetable offered with the entrees and for the prices, I'd expect that. I'll go back again for the memories and mood, not necessarily because of the food.

My friends and I were in Menominee for a state women's 600 bowling tournament and we went to Jake's afterwards for dinner. It was amazing and would definitely go back. Our waitress was wonderful and we also split a dessert as we were full. Amazing supper club!

My husband and I had made a reservation for 6:45 when we got there they handed us a buzzer and said that it would go off when our table was ready. No big deal right they were pretty busy and if I had to wait 10-15 mins we understood. We waited an hour for a reservation that we made in advance. The cheese curds and salad were great. My husband ordered the fish and it came out mushy with no flavor. I ordered a steak done medium that was well done. Overall the staff was nice and the food was ok.

***Updated 11/23/22***another awesome dining experience with my wife and daughter... Everything was fantastic great food drinks and service...but I was disappointed to not receive soup or salad option... It's starting to happen more and more at the supper clubs we like and it's a real bummer...I feel like it's an integral part of the dining experience at a supper club and part of the value of going... I've seen it at multiple places and it's a really sad sign of the times I guess... Please bring back soup and salad! I understand it's likely due to costs but I can promise you it'll definitely be a deciding factor on which restaurant we'll choose on our next outing. My honest opinion. Great food service and atmosphere always a winner! Just as good as it's always been and we been going for over 20 years. It's basically our number 1 choice. ***Updated 4/16/22***....Still superb!!: Had surf and turf tonight well done as I like the browning and the flavor it gives and they nailed it... Wife had pan fried walleye which was awesome as usual... Both had risotto which I highly recommend...We were both very pleased with our meals... As usual. ! Love Jakes cuz they never fail us... Another FANTASTIC visit tonight surf and turf well done again and wild rice risotto all done to perfection loved our experience tonight with our son tonight

Went on New years eve. Prime rib was amazing. Also got the Salmon which came out pretty raw so that part ki da sucked. Manager was very quick tho in taking it to the back & & getting me a new 1 & delivered it personally which made everything good again.Food: 4/5
