Menomonie Family Restaurant

Has a restaurant/Diner flare. Service was good. Our waitress was attentive once she got to the table. Had the burger and shrimp Burger was ok Shrimp was ok The only issue is both were bland. I would go back. Parking: Plenty of parking outside the restaurant. Wheelchair accessibility: Parking stalls are marked and available for customers with accessibility restrictions

This restaurant does a no-frills take on the classic breakfast standards. But they do it well. Everything ordered by each of our party was excellent, including the meat skillet and the stuffed French toast. While a little dated and the smell of bleach was prevalent as they were cleaning the dining room while we were there, the restaurant was clean and service was great.

Unfortunately Memomonie Family Restaurant MFR has slipped backwards considerably in its food quality and service. Today was about the 10th time eating at MFR, yet it has been close to 5 years since the last visit while diving from the Twin Cities heading east For brunch, we ordered the Denver Omlette and the Chicken Tenders Basket both with hashbrowns. The omlette at first bite had an odd non-fresh taste with the ham and other ingredients. The chicken tenders were not tender, instead over cooked and dry lacking flavor. Additionally, the hashbrowns were under done and greasy. Overall today's meal at MFR was a disappointment. When asked by the server how our meal was, my wife politely stated our concerns with no offer to make it right. To top things off, the trash can in the Men's Restroom was over flowing see photo, and its floor was filthy desperately needing a good cleaning. A one-star minimum rating is generous; we will not be back.

Disappointing. We have eaten there dozens of times for the past 15 years we live out of state. Typically we are meeting family or friends. Always has been great food and friendly staff. The food was good, but not to their previous standards. The hostesses argued as to where to seat us; our waitress never smiled and was not friendly. I tipped very well as we sat their talking for a good 30 minutes after eating; lots of empty tables.

wait staff was pleasant tho the regular clientele were a little pushy.. lol friendly yet bold atmosphere was quiet ... had the county fried steak, which was better than I normally have elsewhere, with potatoes & gravy. would I make a special stop for the food? probably not but.. I suggest everyone give a try to see if it suits your fancy..

One parent and three kids... the waitresses were great! Thankfully, she seated us off in a quiet nook, which I appreciated. The food was also very yummy! French toast was the best I've had in years at a restaurant, and it's the nice thick bread! My only complaint, which really is just a suggestion, is that they could use a stool in the bathrooms for kiddos to reach the sinks and soap. It's a bit higher, and I had to lift the kids up to get the sticky syrup off their hands and faces!

Four of us enjoyed breakfast there. Good service and good food. Extensive and varied menu. I will definitely go back sometime. Plenty of hot coffee which we all liked.

Have stopped here twice now while in town - such a comforting, warm atmosphere. Just love it! And the food is amazing! Will surely keep returning Food: 5/5

Found this place in Menomonie-what a gem! Went for breakfast on a Sunday morning-service was outstanding and food fabulous! These people are the bomb-very hardworking with an outstanding product -thank you! We will be back!

Its a great place to spend time with your friends and family. Food and service is great. Ambience is spirited and calm. Lunch/dinner menu and Breakfast menus serve amazing food..
