I think everybody's expecting a bit too much of the drive through for this awesome convenience store/ gas station/ restaurant. There's a reason this place is a local favorite and hangout. So even if the drive through is a little slow at times because they're busy, I'll keep coming back for the fries and cheese steaks.

I would give this place 4.5 Stars but I can’t. The only reason is because it was a few minutes slower than my expectation based on the number of people there and my cheeseburger seemed a little dry. I would have preferred the meat more juicy and condiments on the bun but it came plain without ketchup or mustard. The onions were very nicely chopped for hamburgers. Everything was fresh. And my chocolate malt was super tasty. I believe I paid $12 for a small cheeseburger, AMAZING fries, and a malt. The fries were awesome; maybe better than the burger. They had such a nice crisp from the batter they use. Overall, I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

Great fries! Hot, crispy battered fries. We ordered the Bomber, Philly Beef, and a hamburger kids meal. The Bomber patty was cooked really well, thick, hot, and juicy. The Bomber meal was filling and could even be shared. We'd totally order it again. The Philly and kids meal were less impressive. The Philly lacked on ratio too much bread, hardly any cheese, but the beef was cooked well. The burger in the kids meal was dry and the bun was too heavy for the size of the patty... but there were a TON of fries in the kids meal, so it was still a pretty good deal. Despite that, we'd still go back, but just stick with burgers. Things to know: The restaurant is located inside the gas station convenience store. You order at the checkout counter. The price of burgers included fries There's a small seating area located by the entrance door Plan on waiting a few minutes for your meal. We had probably 6 people ahead of us and waited about 15 minutes.

Pretty good food and the drive through is quick. People who run it are friendly too. I don't get gas her the parking lot and pumps are a nightmare you might hey a fender bender

Love the food here but they placed a whopping $500 hold on our credit card after buying gas. Apparently it’s legal and they’ll return the excess so we only pay the $40 or so the gas cost us, but it’ll take up to 10 days!! I feel bad for anyone who might get hit with an overdraft fee or who needs the extra hold money for other things. Jake’s should be honest and tell their customers that they’re charging the absolute maximum to their customer’s credit/debit cards. It’s a pretty gross practice. Edit: I’m a bit confused by Jake’s response. This is the first time we have ever received a hold this large from a gas station. When we called Chase to dispute it, the customer service agent said this was the largest hold they’d ever seen and explained that it’s up to the gas station’s discretion how much to charge as it protects them from fraud. An article from AARP also explains that gas stations set the hold amount. It seems the card issuers do, however, determine how long it stays on your account, so I will admit I can’t judge them for that part.

Been going to Jake's for a about a year now, not sure what's going on with them lately but they haven't been on top of it. Most of the fountain drinks just spit water out, I been there two days in a row and they haven't filled them, they haven't kept up with the cleaning, the store had a smell, and not a good one. There's no speaker at the drive thru, you order when you get to the window, so food takes longer to receive. Your better off just calling the store ahead of time and picking it up. Hope the kitchen is cleaner than the store, but I haven't got food poisoning. Food is ok for the price, best deal around.

I usually love and rave about this place but today.... we ordered and it was just not right. Our fries were soggy and I gave specific detailed instructions on only one of our sandwiches to be plain and they made them all plain.

I love coming here!! Whether your just stopping to fuel up or grab a drink. They have a fountain drink special, a great little cafe, and an awesome super friendly staff! They also have some of the best fries around!

I heard a lot about this place and was eager to check it out. I'm a little disappointed. The burger was good, and by far the best part, although not so good you can't get it elsewhere. But good, regardless. The fries were very bland and had no salt on them from what I could tell. The ranch... Was terrible. Honestly it had no flavor and hardly could tell what it was. Fry sauce was great though. This place has an endless selection not even kidding of drinks, and that's why we keep coming back. Jake's is a great location, and convenient, and a nice place to swing by.

Great value! The fries are the best around I can’t think of a place that has better fries! The burgers are okay but really inexpensive, especially for a combo you get a burger, fries, and drink for like $9!
