Place is good up until it gets flooded with 300 school age kids at 3pm, then you can't do anything at the gym, or indoor court. Sadly it's the only time I get in a day to go. Obviously they are next to a school so this will happen but the price for membership just to use the pool on a weekend, now, isn't worth it.
I have two kids who use this facility for sports leagues and also for the pool in the summer. The entire facility is clean and well maintained. They have an excellent gym. The staff is always engaging and helpful. They have an incredible amount of programs for the kids. The kids and the parents of the participating kids seem engaged and enthusiastic. Definitely an incredible asset to the community!
New kids swim coaches Dominique and Aiden make a great team, they spend the right time with each kid and teach them a lot! They’re kind, respectful and very patient! Thank you so much!
I love the class availability and being able to schedule classes and floor workouts simultaneously. Very helpful staff. The class instructors are wonderful and types of classes offered are a perfect fit for my needs.
I worked as the child care zirconia for before and after school care and summer camp many moms ago. But I still talk to many of the kids who are now all grown up makes me feel ancient. I did love working there. Great facility, great people.
I've recently joined this Y with my family of 4. I'm so glad I did. This summer has so far started my fitness journey with my fiancee and also we have used the pool every weekend with our kids. We feel as if our child is safe in the Kids Zone as we use the exercise equipment literally steps away. Happy we have joined
Loved it very much before but now it’s going down hill ! My little baby in the playground watched by the workers and tripped fell. Got huge swollen on his forehead. I went to the emergency with the baby. And none of the workers care or asking how was the baby. Even not the workers who watched him. They put my one year old baby with running around big ones together all the time ! No concerns for the babies safety at all !
Absolutely a great facility with very affordable monthly rates for families. The gym is very adequate and they have swim classes, karate, sports, etc. for the kids. Highly recommended.
The facility could use a much needed update, & equipment in classrooms need a good thorough cleaning as well. The great teachers and kind staff keep me coming back....and its the best deal in town with a decent class schedule.
I love the YMCA of Palm Harbor and Lansbrook and I have been a member for many years. I had my grandson on my membership for a couple of years, but as he was in pre kindergarten I didn’t take his as much, so after 6 months of not taking him, I canceled his membership. On the odd occasion I babysit him I take him to the kid’s zone on a guest pass. So I went to take him to the Gills Y in Trinity I’ve never been there before and was told he couldn’t be in the kid’s zone as he is not a member, I said not a problem I’ll re join him. So she pointed me to the next desk. I explained to the lady it was a one off and that he’s my grandson but not a current member, but I’d like to re join him, she said if he doesn’t live in my house hold I can’t re join him, and the kid’s zone is for members only.
