James Third Base Bar & Grill

Great place to go for a straightforward lunch and dinner. For bar food, it was quite tasty. We ordered the phillysteak and pizza hoagie along with the tator top appetizer.

We decided to try something different. Unfortunately, on this night we regretted our decision. It wasn't at all crowded when we went for dinner. It was "seat yourself" and that didn't seem to work out well since the one waitress seemed to pass by us a few times before finally taking our drink order. Our drinks came out promptly, but after just over 30 minutes being in the restaurant and 15 after getting our drinks, we were able to finally place our food order. Meanwhile the group of high school boys that came in after us at the table next to us was able to quickly place their food order and get their food before the waitress returned to get our order. The food was just OK. The chips were bland Saratoga style with no salt or anything. My burger was just average, as were my onion rings. I don't think we will be back

Service was exceptional! I ordered seafood basket and loved it. Overall very good atmosphere and very clean. Definitely going back!

My husband and I have been going pretty regularly for awhile now and have always loved it. The food is great, the staff is friendly and efficient, and there is a relaxed atmosphere. Recently they added healthy options that they'd previously lacked, making them an even better place to go. I had their spinach salad on our recent visit and it was delicious. Now if the patio was for dining rather than smoking it would be perfect. Love this place.

Nice joint. Stopped in after dinner for a quick beer. Was cold and tasty. Was not overly busy, bartender was quick and attentive. Specials as shown, fairly typical for this area. Didn't eat this trip, but would stop there again. Good location as not many spots near there to grab a brew. Ample parking.

Went here after a soccer tourney on Mothers day hoping to avoid crowds and we were not disappointed. For a sports pub the menu was quite diverse. My sons had a burger and the Rueben and the were good. I had wings and a salad, and the wife had a patty melt. Everything was good. No complaints. The menu is 4.5 out of 5.

I have been going to this place for few years now. Unfortunately, the quality of their food has declined significantly over the years, leaving me utterly disappointed and dissatisfied. One of the most glaring issues I encountered was the consistently undercooked food wings that was served to me. Aside from the subpar food, the service was equally disappointing. The servers, in general, displayed an unacceptable level of rudeness. Specially the big girl who wears Cargo shorts all the time. I don't think, I'd go there anymore. There are plenty of other bars around this area. Good luck James, you and your family are good people. I cannot say the same about your staff.

I shared a club sandwich on bread. It was full of Meat and was delicious. The onion rings were thick rings. There were 2 minor things which are not food related. One was the bar was very loud. Two the wait staff was pleasant, knowledgeable but slow.

2nd time visitor. I travel for work and my coworkers suggested this place for dinner and a beer or two..? Enjoyed the laid back atmosphere and attentive service. Good burgers, decent fries, and cold beer - just what I was looking for! I'll keep coming back as long as that mix stays intact! 03/30/2023 - Stopped in again during a work visit to our plant. Still great food, service, and atmosphere! It's Opening Day for the Reds and the place was gearing up for a busy night!

We went for lunch and some drinks....the food was fantastic and the service was spot on....and coming from a fellow bartender that is high praise....go check this place out!!!Food: 5/5
