It was to be expected they would shut down. Husband had absolutely no idea how to run a restaurant. Jamie was such a charm, but she had a collar around her neck. Husband ran it into the ground. Sad, We needed them to be successful. They could have served food like pic below. The local landscapers would have been all over this place. They would have been swamped. So sad........
Tortilla soup was overly thickened and the only additive was tiny tortilla chips. Need a better recipe.
We're from Chicago & know great food. I highly recommend this Cafe. Five of us totally enjoyed every bite. The green chili sauce had a unique flavor & the portions were more than enough. The facility was super clean & the owner was a great host. We'll be back for sure.
Stopped by this place during a lunch break, not knowing what to expect. The staff was very polite and the prices aren't bad. Got a big meal for $7. The food was delicious. Took a bit for the food to come out, but was worth the wait. Definitely enjoyed it and if I'm ever in the area again, I wouldn't hesitate to eat here.
For such a small cafe, I wasn't expecting as friendly and helpful service. You can tell immediately every dish is freshly made. The ingredients are excellently prepared and presented. The breakfast burrito is the size of a mini loaf of bread, but one bite and you KNOW you'll eat the whole thing.
Had the absolute worst beef and bean burrito I have ever had in my life. they cooked the ground beef in canola oil i think and my burrito was dripping in oil, not fat, definitely not beef fat which is one thing to drip out of a burrito but oil is rediculous. The meat was also not seasoned at all. It was just awful and I will never go back. My friend ordered something else they also found to be horrible. We both threw our food away
Was alright. Stopped in here to get a quick bite to eat. Only had Mexican dishes, flavor was pretty flat compared to what we typically find in small restraunts of this caliber. Might try again if we are in the area and want something off their American dish menu.
Good fast New Mexico style food. The 2 I had were tacos were huge I am used to street tacos. Prices reasonably esp considering its in Gold Canyon. Most items made in house.
I lived in New Mexico for 30 years, and after the first bite of my green chili burrito, I told my wife that this is New Mexico chili. When Janie came out to see how we liked our meal, we found out that she is from NM. Great food, great service, real NM flavor!
The hours here are horrible. Stopped by twice during the week and they where closed. Also they close early on some days and not others. Never consistent on their hours. Good luck making it through the summer months when all the winter visitors are gone. I will not be back again for the hassle. Sucks I really wanted to support the local business and the food is good.
