Had a driveline issue and broke the housing of my 4l80e. Found a used housing and took it to these guys. They inspected all the parts and rebuilt the trans in the new case and even cleaned/ painted it nicely all within just a few days. It looked great-shifts and works just like before. Truly the best in country for a reason thank you for taking care of my vehicle as if it was your own. Traveled from fl to have my transmission built by the best highly recommended Vince and Chad.
After dealing with many shady members of the Turbo Buick community who were seemingly unable to figure out why my brand new transmission was leaking but continued to charge me money without repair, I called Chad and explained the situation. I'm happy to report he warrantied the work when the other party refused to do so on multiple occasions. Not only was Chad helpful, he went above and beyond what any other mechanic has ever done for my Grand National. He took the time to trouble-shoot, educate me, and offer the best customer service I've ever received for my car. The turnaround time was lightening fast and I drove 8+ hours home without one single problem. Vince Janis built a name within the Turbo Buick community but it's Chad as well as Brad who keep the legacy intact. These trio of men are the best of the best! Took the old 4l60e that died on our camping trip and definitely made it better than new. Shift kit works like a charm and the kevlar clutches leave us worry free.
Great people! Changed my transmission fluid, and fixed the problem, where another shop told me I would need a total rebuild. Highly recommended!!!

They wouldn't even look at my 2000 dodge durango slipping in 2nd to 3rd, said "he wouldn't even touch it. Too old, too expensive." I went to Akron Transmission, they did a great rebuild in 7 days.
