I've been getting my annual physicals from Dr. Moghissi for the past several years. I knew I could count on her to order a comprehensive blood work as I monitor my inflammation and try to reduce my insulin resistance. Well, I was very surprised when I called to make my appointment that they no longer will be making new appointments, even for established patients. No email was sent out or no referrals were provided. Felt like a was kicked to the curb with no explanation or guidance to where I could continue this care. I nice to know there has NEVER been any genuine concern about her patients. Sad to know…
Best doctor I’ve ever had. Listens, always up to date on latest medical developments, conservative about drugs especially antibiotics, very sensible all around.
I am 75 and have never had a bad experience with a doctor's office until this one. It is inexcusable not to follow thru on a confirmed telephone appointment and at the last moment to say your appointment is invalid. The doctor is supposed to be managing my blood pressure which she made me wait 3 weeks for an appointment to get me off the meds that were causing serous gastric issues. As I'm getting ready to leave for this long awaited appointment get a phone call to say appointment was invalid. Oh, and the doctor was suppose to do a 2:30 phone call which never happened. What a horrible experience by an negligent doctor.
Dr. Moghissi is an extremely patient, thoughtful and caring doctor. She is truly a rarity these days when most doctors try to get patients in and out of their office within 10 minutes. She really cares for her patients and she is very knowledgeable. I have been so happy with my first two appointments with her that I have made her my primary care doctor. This is an excellent doctor.
I've been meaning to write this review for quite sometime. To begin, I'd like to say the front staff are great. Keyri and Alma in specific, are the sweetest young ladies I've ever met! Definitely deserve a lot more praise for running the front so smoothly!!! They greet you politely and kindly remind you of any upcoming appointments. The environment there is just great. Professionalism is always at a high standard. Doctor and Nurse Practitioners are always nice and knowledgeable. They always look happy and overjoyed to be doing their job! I love that.
I have never had a doctor spend as much time talking with me, and explaining things to me, as Dr. Moghissi does. I found her to be very friendly, supportive, and knowledgeable. And her staff are all friendly, and knowledgeable as well. Great office, great doctor, great staff. What more could you ask for?
Dr. Moghissi supports my low carb lifestyle in managing my health. She is not a pharmaceutical pusher which is a welcome relief. I am confident that with her guidance and advice I will live a long and healthy life and avoid Alzheimer's.
I have been seeing Dr Moghissi since the end of last year and I have nothing but praises for her. Dr Moghissi is a type of doctor that is not tied or indebted to Pharmaceutical companies... She only prescribes meds if you need them. She definitely recommends Low Carb diet because she believes in this type of nutrition and is on it herself! ... which I must add is also saving my life! ...God knows we all need to stay away from all the sugar and Carbs that are making us obese and sick....The number of Diabetics in this country is staggering! .... My experience with Dr M has been nothing but exceptional.... I have never been to a doctor that took time to get to know you and try to come up with a comprehensive health plan to get you to where you need to be .. She runs all kind of blood work and tests, that no other doctor will even consider running...and takes her time to explain what those test results are even if it takes more than an hour of her time.. Dr M is very much knowledgeable and she tries to keep up with the latest research and cutting edge medicine. I definitely believe she is one of the best doctors around here... and believe me I have seen my share of Doctors!! I feel i am in great hands with Dr Moghissi and recommend her wholeheartedly!!
Dr. Moghissi and her team of professionals have been taking care of my medical needs and those of my family for over two decades now. We always find responsiveness, care and EXCELLENT medical attention when we have an appointment with anyone on the staff. DEFINITELY, 5 GOLD STARS all around. Thank you, Dr. Moghissi et al.
