The 80,000sq/ft underutilized warehouse, formerly a carpet mill, was built in the late 1800’s as a factory co-op by the Lomax family. The building was split up into several areas where different companies would rent space for their equipment and utilize the steam driven drive shafts to operate the heavy machinery.
Honoring the unique history of the building the sensitive renovation included cleaning up the building, installing all new systems and windows to create a truly inspiring space to work.
Jasper Studios was founded by local entrepreneurs Leo Voloshin and Nate Krauthamer in 2015. Leo is the successful co-founder of Paper Box Studios and CEO of Printfresh Studio: Printfresh is Jasper’s anchor tenant, taking up 11,000 sq feet in the top floor. Nate Krauthamer is a developer in Philadelphia and the surrounding counties who specializes in residential and commercial real-estate with over 100 properties developed.
