Another place to get updated info on activities and stuff that the MIRs will be hosting this year.
Every year, a different missionary couple serves as the Missionary In Residence here at JBU. They are here to support the MKs in their adjustment to the US and their time at university, as well as promote missions on campus. They do this by opening their home (just a block off campus) to the MKs through weekly MK meals. They also host worship nights and other events. They are willing to help out in any way possible, whether it be with getting a driver's license or just getting to talk with an adult. In addition to this, they also prepare for JBU's World Awareness Week, promoting missions and a greater knowledge of what's going on in the world.
MuKappa is another great way to connect with the MK community here on campus. It is a student-led club that facilitates relationships between MKs and the JBU community. MuKappa plans several big events in the fall semester (a rafting trip, camping, etc) and spring semester (including a goat roast) along with pick-up soccer games, worship and game nights, and more.
