01 September 2023 - 4 Stars Came looking for 52-54 inch waist pants for my father. They actually had a pretty good selection. They also had other clothes to fit his 2XL shirt size. The only drawback was that they had a total of 8 belts all sizes and none over 48-inches long. If you are going to carry that size of pants, PLEASE carry belts to match.
Same pricing even on holidays. It is a dying store. They are short on staff always! The fitting rooms are packed of clothes no employee on site to do that. I don't blame the employees because there is nothing they can do to organize the whole store when they have so many task as at hand as well as the customers just throwing clothes everywhere. So far it's a hit or miss!
The photo center is great every year. We bring our son and they always do a great job. I highly recommend them as long as you get a Groupon package. Otherwise it's pretty pricey. The staff is always super polite and professional, and their building is extremely clean and well presented.
I made a few returns a couple weeks ago. I was told that all 3 returns were put back on my card. While checking my credit card transactions I realized one of the returns was not there. I then looked at the receipt I was given and saw it said I was given the return in cash. I didn't receive any cash. I tried to call and talk with someone about it, but the only department that would answer the phone was the portrait department and every time they tried to transfer me I would be on hold for 5 minutes then get disconnected. So I wasted my time and I guess I'm just out that money. Very frustrating. I also tried to contact JCP online and they were super unhelpful.
Here at 11:15 am to return stuff.. directed upstairs to returns department with only 1 person helping with a line of 10 people.. meanwhile there are several other counters willing to checkout people but not returns! Such awful customer service! Saturday morning you would think they would be more prepared.. I got here at 9am but of course they don’t open till 11am.
They treat their employees like garbage. They are always stressed out and short staffed. The dressing rooms are absolutely disgusting and always packed full of clothes. I think this place just needs to be shut down.
Absolute worst return policy. I received a pair of sandals for my daughter that were too small and I got the receipt with it. I went to return them and they said the item wasn’t on the receipt. I asked what my options were and they said I was out of luck. I couldn’t do a straight across exchange, no in store credit or gift card, nothing. I don’t know any other store that has such a horrible policy. So now I’m stuck with a pair of sandals that I can’t use.
Perfect place to buy kids best dress attire, although finding the right size in another story. My husband gets his button ups from here too bc they have slim and fitted styles. My husband is 6'2 with broad shoulders and a small waist. He doesn't have to wear a button up "dress", if you will, now
JCPenny Hair Salon- I stopped by to buy some shampoo and Stefanie was great! So helpful and friendly. She made some suggestions and looked up coupons. Thank you Stefanie for all your help!
The product that I received today was obviously a customer return as packaging previously opened and torn. When I inspected contents there was human hair on mattress topper. Will think twice about ordering from JCPenny again after this experience and shame on the employee who sent this out in the condition it was in.
