Placed a pick up order. No staff on Friday so I didn’t want to wait in line because that was packed too. Came Saturday and Britany was on. She was great and got my order right out to me with a smile! She is a hard worker delivers good customer service. Loved the necklace I got for $25 too!!
I was out there and got my hair cut with my sister by a woman named Alexis. She did an awesome job even stayed til both appointments were finished.. She even showed us out after hours. Very good with customer service.
My husband's mother passed away suddenly and he needed clothing for her funeral fast. We came to JC Penney at the recommendation of one of his "big & tall" friends. Almost immediately a gentleman in the big and tall section came to assist my husband. When he heard why we were there he was kind and compassionate. He has impeccable taste in clothing!! We are not fancy folks and he met the mark with tasteful not fussy for the funeral finery for my husband and his assistance, kindness and professionalism was greatly appreciated!! My only regret was not getting his name so I could add it to my review!
Great store with a variety of selection. During our time there, the staff member Rhonda was very kind and patient to help us in the store. It's a must visit store if you are in Watertown US.
I didn't find what I was looking for but the store is organized, clean and welcoming.
Watertown is not known for great hair dressers, so … I went JC Penney with an appt with James, I was standing behind another client and he took the other client!!!!!!! The Manager was trying to make it better but she is helpless. She was washing my hair and said: “ I don’t know what product to use on your hair they are so sudsy”. Then I wait for James who immediately say:” I don’t know what to do with your hair, so curly, you dye your own hair? I can tell”. I should have left yes. I should have. He then proceeded to basically give me a buzz cut with some hair in the front and THE MANAGER says: well you surely can do something about that. NEVER FREAKING AGAIN.
It was fine but everywhere I go, there is not enough sales staff. I spent 40 years in retail and 1 or 2 cashier's is not enough. Shopping more online as I can't deal with the waits. Life is too busy to have to wait in line.
I did a security gig there and the managers and some of the staff were really nice.
What staff is there is helpful. However due to the lack of traffic in the store you can get a sense they are pressed to get work done as there aren't many employees.
The selection is very limited compared to other JCPenney's I've been to elsewhere. Keep in mind the mall as a whole is on the decline in quality. Just brace yourself if you're making a big drive here - I wouldn't have high expectations. I don't usually do this because I realize I could catch the them on an off day but the washrooms are absolutely disgusting here. My wife took our daughters to the women's and I used the mens. Both completely out of hand in being filthy and unkept. I'll leave it at that instead of getting specific with nasty details. I'd basically rather go to the washroom in the parking lot than go back here.
