I have been training with Jay for 4+ years. It started while I was playing hockey competitively and has grown into a great friendship. The current athletes that train there all love him. He is incredibly knowledgeable and he pushes each and every one of them to reach their full potential. It's a large reason why most of his athletes go on to play high levels of sports, including many NCAA D1 athletes. Don't let the "fake" reviews turn you away. In the 4 years, I have trained with Jay, I have never met one of these 1-star clients of his. A little personal note about me and some recent experience. Since I stopped playing hockey competitively a few years ago, I gained quite a few lbs. I went to Jay at the beginning of 2018 and asked for his help with a workout program to help me shed some weight. I posted some before and after pics below, but in 10 weeks with Jay's program, I was able to shed 18 pounds. Big thanks to him for his continued support.
JD Strength Performance provides a safe and fun environment for young athletes. Coach Jay’s workout programs are age appropriate and specifically tailored to help develop your athlete in his or her specific sport. In addition to physical gains, I’ve noticed an increased confidence in my young athlete, which I believe is equally important. The coaches at JD strength are incredible mentors and role models, and I am truly grateful that my son has had the opportunity to train here.
This guy comes to work with a smile on his face every day. He is ready to go from 7 am until 8 pm. His dog shadow is a beauty. Great work outs. I love hockey.
Great guy, extremely helpful, and very professional. He's the Phil Kessel of gym owners because he's a great guy, works hard, and loves the game.
Trump should close this place down. Trainer caused a major tear in my shoulder by having me sit on the floor doing a cable lat pull. Had to spend thousands on therapy to repair the damage. Avoid going here at all costs.
Rude and very unprofessional. Doesn't possess even a hint of education or knowledge in how to help people. Obviously in this because of the money. Not the type of trainer one should look for.
