Meet the new owner of Jeanitas: Melissa Thomas Edington!
Melissa began her dance training right here in Parma Heights at Charlotte Braun Dance Studio, and also studied jazz with the renowned Dee Hillier of Strongsville. She continued her dance training at The University of Akron, where she received her B.F.A. in dance. Melissa's dance career has spanned over a decade and includes dancing for Holland America Cruise Line and touring nationally and internationally with "42 Street." Of all of her professional dance credits, Melissa's favorite performing credit is the 8 years she spent as a Radio City Rockette. Melissa now resides in the Cleveland area and teaches dance and Zumba fitness classes at many facilities. She is also an adjunct faculty member at Cuyahoga Community College where she teaches Zumba for their Phys Ed. department.
