Responded to my neighborhood last night when called about people breaking into the empty place next door. Corporal Kausler and his partner I apologize I don't remember his name were spot on about the serve and protect. Treated me like they were there to make sure our community didn't need to be treated the way these people were doing. They were immensely professional as well as friendly as can be, especially in a situation like that. They were very attentive as to what was going on as well as very thorough making sure to get all details. I'm just a simple person trying to live a peaceful life out here in the woods and deputies like this making it possible is what makes it great to be...

Had a good experience today with deputy Mueller. He handled an impaired driver at our gas station perfectly. Win Win situation. No one got hurt, deputy Mueller was respectful of all parties today. Great job Sir! Your friend, The Pink Elephant Gas station.

Came to the reviews for a laugh and was not disappointed. Odd a recent compliment also has the same last name as the deputy. Marshak has a horrendous reputation and couldn’t be bothered to return my inquiries about undocumented visits by a detective to my home while they claimed to be overwhelmed with violent crimes. Departments like this one are why law enforcement has a, mostly unfair, bad reputation.

I was pulled over for a tail light that was out, and the officer asked for my passenger's ID. When I asked the reason he needed my friend's Id, he said it was because he wasn't wearing a seat belt. I told him we took them off when we pulled over, and after a minute, he told me they look for any reason to Id a passenger. I understand eforcingn laws, but there is enough tension with police without you all going out of your way to try to find an issue when there is zero reason to believe there is one. I know this will fall on deaf ears, but I'd ask you to reconsider this policy. Any small step that makes people feel like the police are really there to help them and keep them safe instead of looking for reasons to treat them like possible criminals would probably help the publics perception.

Someone needs to tell their deputies that “a belief” is not probable cause for an arrest. Viral video showing an officer persistent on arresting a woman although she blew under the limit and passed all road tests. Egos gonna get u in trouble miss officer

I came to the Jefferson County Sheriff's department, Records Division to request a police report for fraud theft. Sarah was indeed a delight to interact with! She worked very quickly and empathized with situation in a professional, genuinely caring manner. She also was kind enough to equip me with a Recovery plan to protect me from further theft! She went the extra mile for me and I was very impressed with her! Thank you Sarah for being a blessing to me this day! Sarah gave me hope for the future and equipped me and my husband with the knowledge and info we needed to protect ourselves in a situation like this! Sarah deserves an award for outstanding service, extraordinary attitude and being a positive role model to represent the Jefferson County Sheriff's department!

When you do the job everyday or If you think you know what all their job entails YOU DO NOT. These men and women who serve as peace officers are underpaid , under appreciated. They finally got some more money to help retain and hired more officers. I am sure just in ANY job you have people who do not do a good job. You have one bad experience and blame the whole Department. That is just unfair. If you do not go to work everyday having to worry about being shot YOU JUST DO NOT KNOW. Two months ago my 16 yr old son was choked out and assaulted with a gun, tossed to the ground, sat on, a knife to his head and was told he was going to get his D*** chopped off. The Sargent that came to the scene was an ass and so his entire command staff!! Sheriff @ Marshak returned my call but only after multiple messages and he was unbelievably rude to me. I gave up on the police department because it was clear they don't care. I made multiple attempts to contact the PA who never gave me the courtesy of a return call. I call and left messages for our elected PA @Wegge also never gave me the courtesy of a callback. Today I got a letter they will NOT be issuing charges for assault. I have the greatest respect for law enforcement and it breaks my heart to say I have NO respect for Jefferson County police or PA's office. If you want to assault a child come on down there will not be any consequences!! They responded to my post on Jeffco411 with a tail of lies if you care to follow up and read the post there.

Some of the most arrogant d-bags I’ve ever met. I asked a cop a simple question about a road closure and he had a really sarcastic reply. He had the opportunity to be an honorable person in front of my kids although he showed his true colors. Way to go Dipity Halsey....

The number is not contest the officers are very rude this is not a good County Mo Police Department don't even try buy a gun and protect your own house it's the show me state this Police Department will not even look for anybody if anything they will beat you up and put you in st. Anthony's Mental Health facility and then don't want to explain. after being in there for a week but you only remember 1 part of the day went through a mental health assessment no medication nothing so why did this County beat me up and put me in that facility I have a three year old son thank God I have a babysitter and she stayed with my kid she could have gave him up to Family Services thinking I abandoned him this County will not pick up the phone and explain to me I had a seizure why am I in a mental health facility no charges nothing I will not act like nothing happened this County needs to pay for what they did to me last Friday
