We stayed for a weekend with our pop up trailer. All in all a nice clean and fairly well maintained quiet campsite. Unfortunately I gave 2 stars for defects. The pitches had a stony ground which was not very comfortable when getting off the trailer. The pitches did not have any type of hedge or divider between one and the other to guarantee privacy and the connections for water and electricity were a bit confused because under the pitch number there was an arrow which suggested that the connection was another and not the one with the number. The bathrooms always clean reception staff always kind and helpful swimming pool neat and clean.
Wow, It was a really very great time spending in Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park Camp Resort-Niagara Falls,ON. We stayed in a Ranger Smith Cabin, was perfect for the family with kids, feel like home & very comfortable. Park is also beautiful & clean. Nice all day activities for kids. Staff was also very nice & helpful. Very clean cabin. Definitely will come again next summer.
We stayed in the 3 room trailer. Amazingly clean and not a spec of dirt, a hair or even an eyelash on arrival. The staff were great! The only downside is the kids activities. The staff just sat at a table by themselves talking and not interacting or showing guidance - however they were extremely polite, kind to the kids, welcoming and cheery. The $10 extra for the slide is steep especially if staying a full week or for a large family as that in itself costs more than the trip if paying for each day. He kids activities were extra for tshirts and ceramic painting which didn’t seem worth the dollar value paid - maybe $10 a tshirt and $5 for ceramic ornament may drive more business. Overall was a fantastic trip and I just shrug off the extra charges as it is what it is. Washrooms were incredibly clean and serviced at each visit along the park. Cleanest camp ground I’ve ever been to
Extremely clean and well organized on check In. Appreciated the gate at the front for security measures. Staff were friendly and the kids activities were fantastic. If the kids activities were not on, the review rating would be much lower as my kids really enjoyed them and were the highlight of the week. Cannot get over how clean our trailer was that we rented. The employees work really hard and do such a fantastic job. Thank you
Visited this location a couple weeks ago. The programing for kids is really great . My kids had an awesome time. The park was kept clean and bathrooms fairly tidy. The only downfall was all the added avtivies. $10 per child to ride on inflatable slide for one day is a little steep especially with a large family . Also , pedal carts and mini putt were an added fee as well.
The primary objective of our family RV road trip was to visit Niagara Falls and local attractions staying at a nearby campground while in the area. We chose Jellystone Park based on our experience with the brand in several Atlantic Canadian locations, it's proximity to the falls and the giant inflatable waterslide. The ranger station staff were friendly and helpful. We did appreciate the daily shuttle to the falls that saved us from figuring out where to park our rig and the daily rate for full hookups was reasonable as well. What we were disappointed in was the additional 10.00 a day per child to ride the giant inflatable waterslide and the additional cost for shuttle service. It should be made clear that these activities and services were NOT included in the daily rate when booking you pay per site and per person when booking a reservation. Finding out during check in was a huge let down and in retrospective in line with most of our experience in the Niagara Falls area touristy trap vibe. On top of this staff were non existent during most of the scheduled children's activities and the pool was way overcrowded to the point of being dangerous. Maybe our expectations were set too high by experiences at other Jellystone Park's but our stay at this park was unfortunately not the highlight of our two week trip that we expected. If we return to the region again it will not be to stay here.
Great all around campground. The rental units are all new, clean and well maintained. It is close to the highway so there is some noise from that, but it doesn’t really affect your stay. A few areas of the park could use a freshen up but all around a good and fun place to stay at.Rooms: 5/5
My review might come off a bit more negative than others but to be fair this is our fourth Jellystone location, so I feel like we went in with high hopes because all others were pretty awesome. Location: While the proximity to the falls was amazing the campsite is in a less than desirable location being directly off the highway. My idea of camping does not include the sound of constant cars, trucks and motorcycles all through out the day. We have a very busy toddler so the highway and busy road directly off the site was quite literally causing anxiety when I let him ride his bike or walk around. We had to avoid putt putt and a cool jumper castle because each are located directly off the main road where the speed limit is 60km. I’ll admit I could have done more research and confirmed the whereabouts more before reserving .. I’ve just never been so close to a highway while camping before so I never thought to check the proximity of busy roads. Lesson well learned! Sites: I think these were as expected; level sites with partial concrete slabs, fire pits and wooden tables. They are closer to neighbors than other Jellystones we’ve camped at but thankfully we had wonderful neighbors for the four nights we were there. Our site specifically had two trees so close that we didn’t have the option to extend our awning, which was a bummer because we lost the option to have shade during the day and lights hanging at night. Speaking of lights for the sake of safety they most definitely need some sort of lights throughout the site. If the sites were more private and spread apart it would make since to have no lights but with everyone being so packed in and passing through your site to get to the bath house I think the lights are needed. Or maybe clear little walkways between campers so ppl can pass through without trampling on your belongings while en route to and/from the bath house. Pool: the kiddie pool was gated which I appreciated so much! But it desperately needed more water. It was barely deep enough to cover my toddlers ankles .. the water faucets were completely showing and not covered by water at all. Both pools needed a good clean too though it was a busy weekend. There were a total of five lounge chairs … with a campsite this large that’s just ridiculous, no other way to put it. Playground: it’s a small playground, geared toward toddlers but there are two awesome slides and a large jumping pillow which I think all the kids love most! The jumping pillows are always our fav perk of Jellystone parks for sure. Activities: wonderful! They were on time and always organised, we will always continue to choose Jellystone locations because of all the activities offered for the children. Most offer all the activities for free, Niagara location has a lot of additional charges which we were surprised by but nonetheless the options were great for the kids.
Wonderful spot to stop and see Niagara falls. The campground is nice, nice sites. Bathrooms and showers are spacious and clean. Showers don't cost anything, which is rare these days. Pool is nice and the bouncy pillow is awesome for kids.Service: 5/5
Our first visit! We stayed in a Ranger Cabin. It exceeded our expectations. The Cabin is stocked with everything you need!! The Campground is gated, feels very relaxed and friendly!! Beautiful pool for swimming and minutes to the Falls. Will be back for sure!!Rooms: 5/5
