I can't get over how gorgeous the interior is wow! The food was also exceptional! Best hummus I've ever had and serving sizes left me satisfied but not stuffed. Prices are also reasonable and our waiter was very sweet.
This is a beautiful restaurant with a warm and friendly owner. The food is…passable, but the beautiful ambiance is the main draw. Everything in the restaurant was designed or painted by the owner, and it really is quite beautiful - from the menus to the ceilings! The pricing is a little on the expensive side. One of the best Mediterranean cuisine restaurants in town. The food is very delicious, it is really exceptional, and the service which is offered by the restaurant’s owner is great. The interior is gorgeous. Tremendous paintings and artwork. WOW! Prices are so reasonable.

I absolutely adore Middle-Eastern cuisine, ever since going to there for the first time to Jordan a few years ago, so I'm always looking for new spots in Ottawa to enjoy! . I've always walked by this restaurant whenever I go to the Glebe area, and have always been curious. So when a colleague thank you Janine! recently recommended Jericho to me, so I went with a friend and we tried these dishes: . House Specials: #2 Lamb Kafta, which is ground lamb mixed with onion, parsley and spices. This was my favourite out of the two house specials. The lamb was SO tender, and really flavourful, given the unique blend of spices. I would absolutely recommend this as a must-order! Thank you Janine for recommending this. . House Specials: #5 House Combo, which has homus, kebby, grape leaves, salad and fatayer. Kebby is cracked wheat stuffed with beef, onions, pine nuts and spices. Fatayer is spinach pies. This dish was a good way to try a bit of everything. If you're someone who enjoys variety, this is a good choice! I especially enjoyed the kebby, as the mix of spices used in the beef was different from those in the lamb kafta! . The other house specials there are 5 are: Grilled spicy chicken breast, Shish kebab, and a Chicken Wrap. . I recommend dining in the restaurant, as it is beautifully decorated and spacious. The owner came by and told us that he created all of the art on the walls! The owner was super friendly and really helpful with regards to helping us decide on what to order. . Colorful artwork is only the beginning of this wonderful dining experience. We dined early, but I'm sure this joint gets hopping later in the evening. The food is delicious. We had #1 and #3. Both were amazing, with lots of sides. The cuisine is Halal, but there is beer for us as well. Try the Labneh appetizer, it's like Homous without those nasty chick peas.
I’ve been wanting to visit this place for ages and finally tried it. The food was very very good. The service was nice. The setting of the restaurant is also superb.
Wow! This isn’t your average dining experience. Jericho is so beautiful on the inside, it felt like we were transported into the Middle East as soon as we stepped in the doors! The art on the walls, tables, ceiling, doors…all of it…was created by the owner himself. It has beautiful lighting and great music as well. It was such a wonderful sensory experience! The owner was so warm and helpful and truly went above and beyond to make this a great experience for us. The service was perfect, the food was perfect. An absolute must for anyone looking for a hidden gem!!
Lovely little restaurant, beautifully decorated. The food was delicious, generously portioned, and very reasonably priced. The proprietor was super friendly and made great menu suggestions for us. We will definitely eat here again. Highly recommended!
The restaurant definitely has a unique style and atmosphere but the food was ok .….. definitely not as good as the other reviews make it sound. Edit: my wife lowered my rating, she didn't like the food at all
Excellent flavorful food and good service. Server was not as attentive as expected but friendly nonetheless. I would return to try some other dishes.
