The Joan Flasch Artists' Book Collection is one of the Special Collections contained within the John M. Flaxman Library at the School of the Art Institute in Chicago. The JFABC contains over 8,000 artists' books, multiples, audio/visual recordings, periodicals, digital works, reference books, ephemera, exhibition catalogs, and examples of other experimental art practices.
We are free and open to the public, no appointments are needed for individual visitors. Join us 6 days a week in our Reading Room!
