The Hokin Project, launched in 2010, is an arts management practicum course that provides Columbia students of all disciplines with hands-on experience in exhibition development, gallery management, curatorial perspective, and design strategy. Students learn to showcase work from the Columbia College Chicago community and beyond through a diverse assortment of exhibitions, events, and special programming in an authentic gallery setting.
This project is a student-run collaboration between the Arts, Entertainment & Management Department (AEMM) and Student Affairs/Department of Exhibitions and Performance Spaces (DEPS) of Columbia College Chicago.
Current members of the Hokin Project are Odalis Adrian, Sharon Sanchez, Alexandra Field, Christen Calloway, Melisa Morgan, and Hannah Dunsirn.
