Dr. Joan R. Friedlander has been in practice for over 30 years. Dr. Friedlander and her staff continuously strive to provide the most comprehensive dental care and to restore each patients mouth to optimal dental health.
Joan Friedlander DMD, Family Dentistry is a preventive oriented dental practice, meaning she'll keep your entire family's teeth healthy so you can go out and enjoy life while she runs 26-mile marathons for fun (some might call that torture). Providing a caring and compassionate environment, she listens to patients concerns and works with them to make even the most daunting dental procedures run smoothly and painlessly. Dr. Friedlander finds the best treatment to meet every patient's needs and implements it with the help of her wonderful support staff. A major priority for her is continuing her education so she can offer her patients the most p-to-date techniques and procedures. You're not just a patient at Friedlander Family Dentistry. Outside of the office, Dr. Friedlander enjoys spending time with her family. With her husband, Greg Friedlander, she has three wonderful children, Harrah, Ben, and Holly, and enjoys visiting them as well as running marathons in the various cities in which they now live: Chicago, Norman OK, and Nashville. When she's not running or at the office, she also enjoys reading, especially Victorian England literature or tales of female heroism in WWII. She shares her home with three adopted pets rescued from the Mobile County Animal Shelter and she enjoys volunteering at the Playhouse in the Park Community Theater, where she is on the board as their treasurer.
