Recently visited the store in Hyannis and felt like a kid in a candy store. Huge, clean, organized and everything was so easy to find. Staff was wonderful too.
I like the Joann fabric store in Hyannis. It has got a moderate selection of fabrics and craft supplies. It is the best option on the Cape for many craft and fabric supplies, but the best thing about this store is its employees. I was assisted by a woman at the cutting table who was exceptional, I only wish that I had gotten her name. I am having a themed Halloween birthday party for my grandson and this staff member assisted me with a treasure trove of ideas. She was thoughtful, creative and considerate. What a wonderful person! Joann is lucky to have her and I feel fortunate as well for all of her help.
Went to JOANNES TO FIND fabric to redo my kitchen chairs. Wow, $ 7 for 8 1/2 feet of fabric sweet.
DO NOT GO HERE. Most of the employees are very nice and welcoming, but one woman who worked at the fabric cutting section today was INCREDIBLY rude. She was very condescending and flat out rude when I asked a genuine question. This is the 3rd time that I have had a bad experience here and will not be going back. If you have to get fabric, get it from Hobby Lobby where the workers are nicer and less belittling.
I absolutely love my time at Joanne's. Everyone is nice & helpful. Shout out to Cheryl, Dawn & all that work there. They go above & beyond helping.
A bit disorganized but wonderful staff and the manager leads by example. She is always willing to help with a question or concern. No one works harder. When she has a tip she gets on the horn and shares it with everyone. It is fun to shop there and I always find what I need!
I had a fab experience because the cashier honored the fact that I could not find my Joanne card. She gave me a one time pass which allowed for a discount on my large purchase.Thankyou,merci.I had a ball finding supplies ,and was helped to find the items that I needed! I had to special order yarn Dec 7th to finish a Christmas gift. They said up to 3 weeks to receive it. I called back after Christmas to check and they informed me they no longer could get this item! I had to call many, many times to get this resolved. It’s 1/27/21 and I am STILL waiting for my refund. Not to mention, this was a gift! Never buying from them again! Horrible experience!!!
Silly me. I went there to buy black shank buttons to use for eyes on my Christmas stocking. And $75 later I left. Bought 4 pieces of fleece.. on sale 50 percent off. I am making throw afghans as gifts. And also bought a lovely Thanksgiving themed fleece to make throw covers for my daughter's ottomans. The 3 cats love napping there...but they she'd. So the fleece is so easy to just wash/dry weekly. And the furniture isn't dirty. The staff was great today. Seemed to be a joyous feeling there. I was satisfied when I left. And yes I remembered the buttons. And the coupons sure helped save me almost $50.
They have really helpful staff who actually sew and can answer questions and give advice. They don't just roll out fabric and cut it. This is my 'go to' place to buy for sewing or craft projects. They actually have a better bead selection than the craft stores. They have online coupons...so check before you go so you can print out a coupon. They also have a mailing list that you can get on. Always a reasonably fast checkout, but I usually leave with lots of valuable information.
