I have been practicing law in the city of Spartanburg, South Carolina since October 13, 1964. I was in partnership with my father, John C Williams, Sr., from that date until 1998. I am a sole practitioner.
My practice is concentrated on family court, probate court, real estate, and the preparation of wills, power of attorneys, living wills, and health care power of attorneys, as well as, providing notary service.
I served in the South Carolina House of Representatives from 1969-1974, and thereafter on the SC Department of Social Services State Board from 1975-1984, the last three years as the Chairman.
I am a member of the South Carolina Bar Association and the Spartanburg Bar Association. I served as president of the latter in 2003.
