Transforming Healthcare in South Sudan
The John Dau Foundation is fulfilling the dream of Lost Boy and genocide survivor John Dau to provide healthcare in the war-torn region of South Sudan by building and sustaining medical clinics and training community health workers.
JDF's clinic, the Duk Lost Boys Clinic, is located in John's home village of Duk Payuel in Jonglei State. It has treated over 110,000 patients for curative care, and reached thousands more in preventative services like vaccinations, education campaigns and training.
To build and sustain healthcare facilities in South Sudan that will provide basic medical services where none previously existed.
