A great place for a beer or a full dinner as well. Staff is super nice, service is quick. The food is just great, the Mac and cheese with BBQ pulled pork and the bread pudding are a must if you never tried them, they are sublime.
Great friendly service. Warm atmosphere. Nice hearty meals in great portions. Hubby loves their grilled meatloaf. I love their awesome selection of their own craft beers. The best part? Take a growler home and continue to enjoy. Also, great location, right in the Shopper's World plaza. Shop all morning and go for a great lunch or show up for lunch to give you shopping energy. Location cannot be beat.
Nice quiet atmosphere, waitress is super nice. Quick service. Great for grabbing a little quick bite to eat with your beer.
The food is good pub type fair. The batheooms are a little run down. Almost a year later: The bathrooms have improved but I had pulled pork mac and cheese that was like soup. Very runny?
Decent meal and service, but I was really disappointed with the condition of the restroom. Questionable soap supply, paper towels on the counter, and a kitchen food container catching water coming from a leaky toilet made me wonder if the employees were able to practice adequate hand washing practices. Photos attached.
It’s a local spot with some pretty good music and very relaxed staff. The only real appetizing vegetarian option is the veggie burger, but it comes with a mayo-based sauce. Wish there were some good vegan options or more vegetarian options, but not many brewery/ale houses are like that. It’s a neat little spot nestled into a hectic shopping center, so be prepared to walk a little bit as parking is messy. I imagine it’s a really fun spot when there’s a sporting event on TV.
Chicken pot pie was pretty good, but the beer quality is not great. Stout was watery. Amber spiced ale was good because of the cinnamon sugar lined rim.
Yummy food and great service. Chicken BLTA is delicious and a must-try. The appetizers hummus plate and Bavarian pretzels, see pictures were pretty good as well.
Friendly staff. Great place for our club meeting. We meet around New England in a different spot each month, but we always find a way to get back to this John Harvard's. The Cambridge site is cool, too, but this one can handle a big group. Food was delicious. I had fun once again.
Staff was nice. I liked the open brewery concept. I had the Mermaid Mule, the chili....very good, and lobster rangoon was so-so.
