John Weston Sr. Memorial Food Garden is a not for profit community garden. Our primary goal is to donate our fresh vegetables to local food pantries. We have garden plots available. Please call for more information.
The John Weston Sr. Memorial Food Garden is a not for profit organization dedicated to aiding those less fortunate. Almost an acre of ground is gardened and produces a substantial amount of produce for families in need in our community. Additionally, we provide hands on educational opportunities to children and adults, regarding diet, nutrition and health issues.
Established in 2004 after the death of John Weston Sr, our main emphasis is not on financial donations, but food donations. We request that our gardeners donate 20% of their produce back to our organization in turn, we donate the fresh vegetables to local food pantries.
