Johnson City Public Library

The Johnson City public library has so much more to offer than just books! They are open although public computers are not accessible at this time they are still very helpful. I needed stuff from my phone printed and I didn't have a clue what to do. The information desk upstairs was able to help me easily! They were AWESOME! Great staff! I also walked by the kids section and it looks very inviting for kids to hang out and read or listen to stories and the other many kids activities that the library has to offer.

This library is awesome with a really beautiful and quiet setting very conducive to study and focus and they have books! Something some other libraries seem to be lacking. It has a elevator for people like me I can't go up stars but I can come down. Many areas to sit all with different atmospheres to suit your needs. The best I've seen in 3 different states.

This is a really nice library. They have many activities for the family to keep them occupied. There can be some shady characters hanging around outside, but they tend to be harmless. I'v never had a problem with them.

The Johnson City Public Library is always a great experience for me, from helpful staff to availability of media of all types i.e. books, dvds, cds and more. Other offerings such as internet access, private rooms for study, and access to Tennessee historical information are also readily available.

I’d never had my own library card and it was super simple to get one. Unfortunately the book that I had been looking for was misplaced somewhere in the library but they told me that they would give me a call once they found it. Really helpful and friendly librarians!

Great downtown location. The new park addition needs a water feature, but overall the the library is convenient, clean, organized--everything a library should be.

One of the best public libraries I have ever been in. Lots of great books, movies, and music to check out and enjoy. Their public computers are all recent model Dell all-in-ones plus their public WiFi is fast. The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. A great place to spend an afternoon. What's there not to like?

Beautiful library with anything you could need! I don’t have kids, but their section is abordable, and I could see little ones loving it!
