Description

We grew our first pumpkins in 1985 and sold them at the side of the road. We have expanded in the last 25+ years and now have a giant corn maze, fresh doughnuts, lots of animals, a bird zoo, large grounds with decorations, craft store, pumpkin launching trebuchet and much more!



"Johnson’s is a seasonal, family friendly pumpkin farm that is open to the public from the middle of September through Halloween. Located on a fully operational 80-acre farm that grows corn, soybeans, wheat and sugar beets in an addition to pumpkins, squash and gourds. When open to the public, Johnson’s offers fresh-made fry cake donuts, a large petting zoo, a fully stocked craft store, a 13-acre corn maze, full selection of fall yard decor, extensive concessions, and 15 acres of decorated grounds to wander. Admission to the farm and parking are free."

Always a fun place to go. We visited during the River of Time this year, and the people putting it on, were very informative and interesting. I just couldn't help but feel, that the pumpkin farm activities took away from what they represented. It was a great, free event, with a lot to see and do. The line for doughnuts and cider took 20-30 minutes to get through. It would be amazing if they could find a way to create more than one line. Seating was outdoors only this time. Luckily, the weather was warm. We were fortunate to get a picnic table to sit at.
A very family friendly farm located in the perfect intersection between Saginaw and Bay City. Stop in to get your pumpkins, sweet treats or snacks that anyone in the family would enjoy. Awesome holiday decor inside their store with Michigan exclusive treats. There are tons of weekend activities for the whole family to enjoy so don’t forget to check their events page. ATM is also on-site to accommodate their cash and card vendors. Along with the paid corn maze, you can actually enjoy their sunflower and bean fields for free. Plenty of parking.
Lovely atmosphere and lots to explore for younger children. Pretty high prices for pumpkins and gourdes so we chose not to purchase any there.
This photo shows the prices we paid last year. $5 for good sized “fairytale” pumpkins. We visited yesterday and I left empty handed because the prices of most of the pumpkins have almost doubled! I understand inflation but come on.. The experience is great and fun but the new prices on the pumpkins are really disappointing.

Love the atmosphere here! So many things to see and do! Donuts and apple cider are delicious. Will definitely go back again! Lots of different size pumpkins to chose from. Lots of great picture spots for family and friends! They even have live animals to see! My favorite part was walking in all the sunflowers.
A fantastic destination right here in our own backyard loads of activities for young and old alike from fun hay characters like Smurfs, Mickie and Minnie Mouse, Paw patrol and many more. capture the perfect pictures for great memories for years to come. they also have an assortment of live stock to entertain and interact with goats, chickens, and an emu just to name a few. Delicious treats as well doughnuts and apple cider and don't forget Pumpkins Pumpkins and more Pumpkins. They have face painting, tractor train rides, sunflower maze, corn maze and horse back riding too. The staff is very friendly and accommodating stop out and enjoy a family friendly experience
The best way to describe this place is that it is just amazing...so much to do and see..it was safety day this day and there was every type of safety vehicle ...ambulance, fire truck, police cars, tow truck and even police officers on horses...there was many booths to buy so many different item from food to jewelry to clothes...their donuts, hot chocolate and apple cider are so delicious...they also have many different pumpkins to buy and awesome sets to take family pictures in front of....also I don't want to forget to mention the corn maze... absolutely the greatest time ever for all ages
Great day at Johnsons. The weather was beautiful. River of time was very educational. E eryone had a great time.
