Opening in 2018, the Johnston County Rugby Park is the first public Rugby Facility in North Carolina.
The Johnston County Rugby Park is a joint project between the Town of Wilson's Mills and the Clayton Rugby Football Club. The park is the first public rugby facility in North Carolina. Once completed, the park will have a playground, pavilion, bathrooms, parking, two multi-purpose playing fields, and one Rugby specific Championship Field. Future additions to the park will include a covered grandstand on the Championship Field and a combination clubhouse and community building.
The facility will be the home park for the Clayton Rugby Football Club, Wilson's Mills Youth Rugby, and a go to destination for rugby teams throughout the region.
