Do not take your deer here to be processed I wouldn't take anything here! I brought a 110 lb field dressed doe here and they gave me 8lbs of venison back I have no words. They were beyond rude over the phone I asked when the sticks would be ready And they said whenever they get done. told me " I was not a regular customer" "you don't matter to us"

We got ribeyes and filet for a family cookout, was very good meat!!

This is the only place I will go to buy meat. Employees are very nice and I like that I can call ahead to place an order and they will have it ready for me to pick up. The bacon is the best around and the steaks are always excellent.

We baught two steaks from here today. $35 which to me is too much but not my hubby, he's the steak guy! His cuts looked very fresh and good. I tried some of the tender side and it was delicious. I was very disappointed though, I really wanted cheese curds and they had NONE. Said they were supposed to get them today but didn't. I was bummed, all I could think about was a nice, salty, squeaky, cheese curd and got none. Boo. Nice place altogether though. Nice guy too.

THE BEST BEEF! We came across this tiny place by accident. It's the real deal butcher...nothing fancy for sure, but who cares when the quality is there. I bought a fresh chicken, farm eggs, and a steak. That day they had aged rib eye. Not prime, just choice, at $13 per pound. WOW! We haven't had a steak like this since I cannot remember when. Not "injected" with needles and moisture and coloring. The meat was dense and flavorful, the fat melting in your mouth. Can't wait to go back and try their prime! The chicken was better tasting than anything you can get in the supermarket. The eggs at $4 per dozen were terrific! You cannot beat the freshness. You can call and place an order to pick up later. You can also buy meat by the "box"...create your own plan to include beef ground, roasts, steaks, pork, chickens whole and breasts. The woman was very nice and the guys were too answering my husband's many questions. Not sure about the deer processing part. We are so happy we found this place!

I go here because I like to support the local guys, the boxes they put together are a great value and I've never had a bad cut of meat. Ribeyes and smoked pork chops are definitely my favorite.

Super friendly and patient service even though I was that first-time customer that came in at the end of a busy day. Loved the mango habanero snack sticks and the sirloin steaks were flavorful and tender.

Meat is very good, but.. they’re scales must be off for the deer processing because I took a 170# dressed buck in they told me it weighed 115# and insulted me saying my deer is tiny and I’m an idiot because a 170# deer should be in the record books. Go to pick up my meat and my 2 tenderloins are the size of a carrot, chops maybe I received one loin. And my total weight of meat off my 170# deer was 43 pounds. With additives to my venison Asked them how much meat would come of a 90# doe. The manager said around 15#. Ive butchered all my deer up until this year and I’ve gotton double the amount of meat they do. Either Johnstown meats wastes an unbelievable about of meat or they like to keep some for them selves. Herd many similar stories to my experience. Be careful. Very rude and unprofessional

Absolute worst experience with any buisiness ever. Quoted me 2-3 weeks for the service to be completed and told me that i was threatening them by asking for a price reduction since it took 8 weeks. Furthermore, the are accusing me of theft with no evidence. I brought a witness with me because i had a feeling that they were going to try something. Im not a thief and i brought my buisiness here because i wanted to stay local. With all the lies and accusations from the owner, i will NEVER spen another penny here and i will be telling everybody i know about the owners behavior.
