Always great food, reasonable prices and fun for the kids. Orders varied from lobster rolls to chicken tenders, food is always fresh and prepared with care. Lobster Roll price was lower than the popular spots by the water, but quality and serving size was not lower. It's no frills, and a bit hot out for Maine, but the outside picnic tables are situated in the shade. Kids enjoyed the playground and arcade, this is one of our favorite places to visit for lunch, dinner or an afternoon ice cream.. Kid-friendliness: Playground and arcade out back!
Pricey but delicious! Well stuffed lobster roll with perfectly toasted bun! Fried mushrooms were fresh with delicious batter. Chix salad was great and the fries were tasty and crispy!
The lobster roll is small for the $23 price. I think this place should be better known for is ice cream desserts. Great for families!!
Absolutely amazing, great prices on all choices tons of choices of food, milk shakes, and of course ice cream! Wednesday night is car show and dancing!! I grew up coming here and will continue to come back forever. Game room is always a super fun choice too! Plently of outdoor and indoor seating for all.
Good food! Fun drive up atmosphere. We were bummed they were out of a few things we were hoping to try. Our French fries were also a tad on the cold side. All in all, not a bad experience! We enjoyed the gift shop and if it was a little cooler the outdoor eating area looked very nice! We would try them again if given the opportunity!
Have gone here off and on over the years. Nice grounds to enjoy your ice cream or meal. Frankly, food is nothing special or unique. Ice cream has gotten fairly expensive. We'll continue going to the other shop over on the hill ;
Only had ice cream and shakes, but they were both delicious! The food menu was extensive and everything sounded delicious. Lots of locals ordering so it must be good !Food: 4/5
The food was good. The fries were crisp and delicious. I ordered a bacon cheeseburger and it was good. The size of the burger was pretty disappointing. Overall I enjoyed the experience but I don't think the taste and quality outweigh the exorbitant price. We paid almost $36 plus tip for: 2 cheeseburgers slightly larger than a junior bacon cheeseburger from Wendys, with fries for both, and 2 shakes 1 large, 1 small. I was also disappointed in the size of the shakes. Overall, the food and service were a 4 but price alone makes me think that this could have been a 1 time experience. Parking: Their parking system isn't the best. Wheelchair accessibility: Very wheelchair-friendly.
We had a variety of food. Hot dig had two thumbs up from my granddaughter. Chicken fingers got 1 thumbs up from my grandson and granddaughter, the lobster roll was stuffed with meat, the salads fresh!
Staff were excellent, very friendly and helpful. Explained the menu to each person based on what they were looking for and to each of their levels. Made suggestions and even verified our order. Suggested a place for us to eat our meal. Food was amazing! Worth going there, whether on your way to Ellsworth or not
