Loved this campground! We stayed in the Serenity Cottage. The campground is well-pruned, sprawling, and very clean and serene. Loved that it had a pool, volleyball, balls, and a playground. The pool never got crowded or rowdy. The playground is safe and clean. Our cottage was very clean, nicely appointed, and had all the amenities for our long weekend stay, including air conditioning and comfortable beds. Despite being near the campground entrance and pool, it was never noisy. The staff was super nice and helpful. Tasha welcomed us when we arrived and got us everything we needed including toilet paper that was running low and also got rid of a wasp nest near the front door. We wish we stayed longer to enjoy the walks and hikes. We will definitely return!
Last minute gem discovered for our stay in the St. Catherine's area! Located in a nice quiet area with amenities close by, Jordan Valley Resort is a lovely place. We stayed in the Napa Tiny Home and cannot recommend enough trying it out. Plenty of storage, a nice shower and washer/dryer if needed. The comforts of home while camping and the air conditioning was a delightful surprise. Definitely needed for our weekend! Notable cons to mention would be we did find some rodent poop around in the fridge of all places but honestly to be expected while "camping." Also we were informed the oven door shattered in transit pictured with no solution for it. We did not need the oven but it was concerning with our toddler running around. We made due and cleaned up any missed glass and covered it with a garbage bag and it was no issue. If you plan on visiting the campground, definitely try to book the tiny home. Worth the cost per night and we will definitely be booking again! Rooms: Loft is spacious and oh so cozy. Queen sized bed and a great sky light for night time gazing. There is also a futon couch that could be used for another guest.
We just retired and bought a new trailer for our new adventures. We came to the front gate to check in, and after a few minutes Terry came and showed with his golf cart exactly where we were camping. Being new to the trailer experience, he showed us everything that we had to hook up and recommended getting a few extra things. He showed us more about the trailer than the dealer. The pool looks beautiful and the change rooms and showers were clean. The wineries are all quite close by and there are lots off fruit stands close by. We found that there were lots of friendly people. We will definitely be back.
Jordan valley resort is a campground. It is conveniently located near Vineland Ontario in a valley. There are approximately 45 seasonal sites, 12 or so full service sites pull through and lots of camp sites. There are also 2 Airbnb houses to rent. The seasonal sites are located on the west side of the park. With camping sites located on the west and south side. The camping sites are really nice especially the back 40 . Surrounded by mature trees and lots of space between sites. There is a river running through the property, great for canoeing or similar excursions. The park has a play area for the kids, a pool, and a fenced dog park. There are also trails through the woods to explore. The washrooms are modern and spotless..This is a QUIET FAMILY CAMPGROUND....if looking to party try somewhere else. The seasonal campers are nice, helpful and friendly. The grounds area very nice and well maintained. It is an easy walk to the quaint village if Jordan. There are several winery's in the area and its a short drive to Niagara Falls or Niagara on the Lake. If looking for a nice family camping experience close to all amenities this is the place to be. Safety: Very safe camoground Walkability: You can walk to nearby village of Jordan or a winery. Playground: Modern nice playground for the kids Restrooms: Restrooms are modern and spotless Dog-friendliness: It's a dig friendly park. Must be leashed at all times. Has a dog park on site.
Nice place. Very basic. Small pool, washrooms weren't very clean and there was no toilet paper in one of the stalls for over a day. Inexpensive, kid had fun. Would go back.
We just returned from a week long stay here to visit the area’s vineyards, the staff are incredible. This campground is absolutely awesome, the washrooms are the cleanest I have seen at a campground . The location is perfect. There are hiking trails on the property and close by. We had a mishap while we were getting ready to leave and I needed medical attention Gina and Rick were extremely helpful. We are already booked for next year.
I have camped all across Canada and have to say this is one of the best places I've stayed. A very friendly and helpful staff. Well maintained grounds and immaculate bathrooms and showers. Good water and power and we had a perfectly level site with lovely willow trees and grass. Excellent lake near by for kayaking. Llts of nearby hiking trails. And even a village with "upscale" shops nearby if you like. Highly recommended and we plan on returning soon.
Be careful of your belongings during your stay. We've really enjoyed the campground and have done 2 weekend stays here this year. However, this time we had 6 of us next to each other with our tents-- overnight, someone came and stole all 3 of our female bathing suits drying on our clothes line right next to our tent & car, and left the male bathing suits untouched. Very brazen and creepy-- never had any thefts/anything like this happen in past camping experiences. We informed the staff and understand nothing can be done, but would unfortunately advise future guests to put everything away I just read a review below someone else had their axe and firetongs stolen. The washrooms were not as immaculate compared to our first stay late May. On Saturday at 8am, busy time with people using the facilities, 2 of the women's stalls had no toilet paper. It's otherwise a beautiful campsite, with friendly & flexible staff, cute fun pool, and close to wonderful wineries and activities.
best place to camp! highly recommended! Small town, but beautiful site! 10000%%% amazing!Rooms: 5/5
Great experience in a glamping tent. They provided a free bag of wood and free bag of ice, as well as a charging device for any electronics we had, and it lasted 2 days with 3/4 bars left! The only thing that was a bit disappointing was that the string lights in site 44, but that didn’t matter. The experience was really cool, and it’s a great campground!
