Have always gone here when we need something. Service is great, no pressure. Worth giving it a look to see if they have what you want.
Buyer beware. While they do post signs that all sales are final, I never imagined that it would be impossible to return goods that were damaged in loading or that there was no way to see the damage in the way that it was displayed in the store. I happened to see damage as the guys were loading my car, but I had to get back to work and called as soon as I left the store to report it. They said that one item was not returnable and that it was my responsibility to do a full inspection prior to purchase. Pretty hard to do when it was a heavy 9 x 11 rug where the damage was on the backside tire tracks and it was covered with furniture on the floor. I also purchased a table with a glass top that on the floor looked great, but I noticed the glass edge was chipped when it was loaded in. I commented on it and figured it must not be visible when it was on the stand. Well after I got home, realized how difficult it was to put the glass back on, it was super clear it was damaged by the guys who disassembled and loaded it. There was no way I missed that in the store. After being passed to the manager, I was told I could return the table but I had to get it back by the end of the day. That was not really possible for me and there was zero accommodation for my needs. I really like what I got but felt I was taken advantage of in the process. Super disappointing. I won't be back.
We've been visiting Joy's for years and, yet again, had a fantastic experience yesterday. We're not always sure what we need Joy's always has great stuff, so sometimes we just come in to browse but yesterday we were on a mission - find "the couch" for a friend's new apartment. We walked through the door and there it was - the size, type, color, etc we were looking for - right by the front door. It's like they planned for us. Not only did it make our day to have found it, but the staff was awesome - both interpersonally and by taking the couch apart, wrapping it, and helping us load! It could not have been easier. We'll continue stopping in - even on the days we're not on a mission, we always enjoy browsing - and more often than not we find something we NEED to take home anyway. Highly recommend!
I often find small things I like and purchase. I have bought several pieces of framed art here. This store gets lots of its merchandise from model homes that have sold out. I'd buy more, but I'd have to get a bigger house. If I were starting out in life, I'd start here.
Such a unique, beautiful collection of home furnishings. I was finally able to find nice chair for my patio here and plan to return when I need other pieces. The staff were beyond helpful and extremely friendly. My only regret is not visiting Joy's sooner!
If you are searching for one of a kind, well made furniture this is the place to visit! They have everything and you can't beat their prices. We furnished our entire home from this store and I get so many compliments on all of our pieces. The staff is always helpful and friendly.
Good selection of quality furniture. The service attitude of staff is variable hence the loss of a star. They can be a bit uppity.
Be sure not to come to this place unless you look like an affluent 50 year old woman. After a long day of shopping we were not only ignored our entire visit in an almost empty store, but I was nearly shoulder checked twice by employees on their way to higher value customers.
I always enjoy browsing here. Things reduce in price over time and most pieces have three dates and prices on the tags. Since they were closed for two months for quarantine, all the tags are wrong regarding the date but they have come up with a clever solution and post what day it is at the front door. So I was shopping on June 20 but at Joy's the date was April 8.
This store is PACKED with stuff, but that means lots of choose from. Frankly not all of it is worth looking at. The prices are decent, but some things are worth double checking to see if you're getting a deal. We sold a lamp through them and although all the their policies are disclosed up front 50/50 split on sales price after they take $20 off the top -- you set the price of your item and they add the $20 they're making the money, not you. Also, since the store is crowded, they don't take everything offered. Inventory moves through very few months, so it's worth checking back. Staff has always been helpful but not over the top. Sometimes I get shown things, other times I get the "it's over there holler if you need me".
