Dr. Nicouly Pierre Jean-Philippe was born in Haiti in 1956. Raised in Port-au-Prince from 12 to 25 years old, he left Haiti in April of 1982 and came to United States.
Dr. Jean-Philippe attended Bethune Cookman College beginning in January of 1983 and graduated with a B.S. in Chemistry in 1987, but not before getting married in December of 1985. Then in 1992 he attended Meharry Medical College School of Dentistry and graduated with a D.D.S. in 1997, going on to work for Affordable Dentures after graduation, before joining the U.S. Army Dental Corps, where he spent 5 years as a Captain.
He also had the opportunity to travel overseas to become the Dentist in Charge in Hungary, and spent several months treating both soldiers and civilians with high quality dental care. Some of the procedures he performed included many types of oral surgery, such as Impacted or Partially Impacted Teeth, Preventive Care, Adult Prophy and Scaling Root Planning, Molar, Bicuspid, Anterior Root Canal, Veneer, Crowns & bridges, as well as Partial and complete Dentures.
After an honorable discharge from the Army, Dr. Jean-Philippe opened his private Dental Practice – JP Cosmetic Dentistry, Inc. – in 2003 in Orlando Florida, where he performed Periodontal Surgery to save his patient’s teeth. He also provided Botox to keep patients young and beautiful, did Implant procedures instead of breaking the natural teeth to replace a missing roots. He soon moved to a new location in order to have enough room to practice what he loves most – “Cosmetic Dentistry”. In the new location, he added Invisalign to patients with crowded teeth, to his list of services.
Dr. Nicouly Pierre Jean-Philippe has one son, and one daughter. Both children have been raised with the same respect that his parents passed onto him.
