Its a nice clean park, people were walking on the trails. Its a good place to get your exercise in. It has a playground and five different football fields.  There's a dog park. A umpire room, concession stand with picnic tables and rest rooms that are checked and cleaned daily. As you can see it's another wonderful park that my dog loves.

Julia Lester Dillon Park holds a special place in our family's heart, especially during the Independence Day fireworks show. It has become a cherished tradition to attend this event every year. The park's serene ambiance and spacious setting create the perfect backdrop for a memorable celebration. As we gather together with friends and other families, the excitement and anticipation build up for the mesmerizing fireworks display.  The park's well-maintained grounds provide ample space for kids to run and play before the show begins. My children's eyes sparkle with delight as they eagerly await the spectacle of colors and lights that will soon illuminate the night sky. It's a magical experience for them, and they can hardly contain their joy.  As the sun sets, the park fills with an electric atmosphere, a sense of unity, and patriotic spirit. The crowd buzzes with excitement, chatting, laughing, and sharing in the anticipation of the upcoming display. As darkness falls, the first firework rockets into the air, bursting into a stunning array of colors and patterns. Cheers and "oohs" and "ahs" erupt from the crowd as each subsequent firework illuminates the sky with its brilliance.  Witnessing the wonder in my children's eyes as they gaze at the mesmerizing show makes the whole evening even more special. We create lasting memories together, and year after year, Julia Lester Dillon Park remains the place where our family comes together to celebrate Independence Day with joy and pride. It's an event we look forward to, and it never fails to leave us with a sense of wonder and gratitude for the beauty of this annual tradition.

I've always exercised here and it's always been a beautiful experience.  The park is a great place to go for a walk or run. Also, bringing your furry one would be a plus because they have a doggy area as well. The walk is about a mile, and so.  This is the park to get a great exercise at!

Watched a fantastic softball game in a well kept and lighted area. Bathroom was clean, decent concession stand and plenty of good parking.

Very nice park. Huge with lots of parking. Ok bathrooms.  Need to fix the locks on the doors, though.

This is the place where lots of people still go to get their walk in. You can go early in the morning or in the afternoon.

My first time here and I enjoyed my self watching Women's Football.

Went there to get on the Cyprus Trail to cycle but the trail is blocked off and closed everywhere. Can't  even get 2 miles. Very common for SC trails. Mostly closed even though they got millions and millions to establish these trails they do not maintain them and just block them off. Do not waste your time traveling to any trails in SC with the exception of the Swamp Rabbit Trail in Greenville.  Always open..Always pristine. Excellent cycling.

Great park to enjoy youth games as well as much improved ball park & walking track around the sports from soccer to baseball, softball etc.  Very well kept up w/something for everyone.  Even just taking in a ball game for fun or a break from walking, running even Frisbee tossing!! Great family fun for everyone!!! Pets allowed, pls bring your pets 'baggies' !!

Nothing like a night in the lights watching a nice softball game in Dillon Park and it is kid friendly also
