Palmetto park is pretty nice and serene. A very nice park to walk and relax. I have seen some fishing here. I can't recall if I've seen any picnic tables. There is a gazebo where you sit and just enjoy the scenery. And people and duck watch. My dog and I really enjoy this park.
Lots of picnic tables and benches. 3 or 4 playgrounds. Play area is gated. Bathrooms are in the play area. Theres also a small splash area not working yet Plenty of parking near the playground. I ticked off a star because the girls bathroom at least smelled absolutely rotten. Well no wonder why because somehow someone didn't keep it all in the toilet. There was splattter all inside the toilet and on the wall/floor next to the toilet. The bathrooms could use cleaning more often. The other thing is the playground could use some sort of partial shade. There are lots of slides that get really hot. This playground is good for ages 2-10 Playground: 3 separate playgrounds. Restrooms: Smells dreadful.
Peaceful. I took my lunch break there after getting an infusion that seem to hurt more than help. The park allowed me to rest in the shade and enjoy nature while I ate! Smh
A lovely family park with plenty of shade and seating. The splash pad is small but my kids enjoyed playing in it. Nice touch having all the amenities combined in one playground. Close proximity to both baseball fields and tennis courts. Perfect for squirmy littles who can't sit on a bleacher for too long.
One of the oldest parks in South Carolina and beauty all around! The trees are beautiful in every season and my kiddos love the slides and swings. Playground: Great Restrooms: Clean Dog-friendliness: Dogs welcome Picnic area: Good
Has a Playground with Splash pad , walking path around pond. Is In between the baseball fields and tennis courts Playground: Very open area, two big play sets. 1 taller than the other. Shorter one is wheelchair accessible and lower for younger kids. Whole playground is wheelchair friendly. Access to picnic tables, bathroom and splash pad 3 different sets of swings. Original, baby seat, and 2 extra large full body swings. Wood chip ground cover in play area. Has a sidewalk around the the playground inside fence. Fully fenced in. Ample parking right at playground. Restrooms: 1 large stall each for Men and Women. Changing station in women's, not sure about the mens. Dog-friendliness: No animals allowed inside, unless service animal Picnic area: Splash pad has 2 picnic tables and shade. Play area has atleast 2 more covered picnic tables where the bathroom is located, possibly 1 more in shade. Playground has 3 or 4 benches to sit on, some are in shade as well.
Great little playground for kids. Small little splash pad for when it starts warming up. Good quick walk trail around a pond too.
On one side of Palmetto Park there is a perfect walking trail! It's right in town, near most everything. There is a pond that is home to various water foul and several bridges to walk over. There is also a lovely gazebo and benches following the trail. Pets are permitted on a leash with owner. There are also pet clean-up stations along the way. On the other side of the park there is a nice area for picnics, a playground and plenty of tennis courts for the tennis enthusiast.
Great place for family fun. We love taking our little ones here splash pad is free and so is the park. I like that it's gated in so the kids can play freely. Always lots of kids here so great for kids to socialize . They have nice tennis courts and the whole area is always clean. We go here alot in the summer . If you are a big family and are trying to save this is a good place to have a fun day on a budget.
Nice little city park with multiple loops around their water features. Doesn't seem too busy, so I was able to walk without a mask. Also noticed they have provided little bags to clean up after your dogs.
