One of my favorite City Parks. Shaded mostly throughout, which is especially nice during our extreme 96+ Temperatures & Heat Advisory days. Multiple paths, Paved, through the woods, and around the Lake. My dog and I have enjoyed all of this park. Dog-friendliness: My dog loves this park. He's experienced seeing Ducks for his first time here. Enjoyed all the different smells and meeting other dogs with their owners. Picnic area: Lots of picnic tables throughout the park. A few are stand-alone and several areas of multiple picnic tables under large pavilions. Great for large groups, birthday parties, and family reunions. You can make reservations for the pavilions. Permanent Charcoal grills are available too.
Bathroom was flooded otherwise nice center
The black lady with the lisp is rude and unprofessional.
