I bought my jumping jack in 2008...15 years later still love it. We camp a lot and in 15 years we have replaced a zipper and just last year had to put in new pneumatic cylinders to help lift it for opening and that is it. Still water tight! I don't believe I will ever sell this. We 100% boondock camp and I have pulled this into place I probably should not have gone with my jeep and it just follows right along.
My family and I love our jumping Jack trailer. We are a family of 4 plus a dog and we have plenty of room inside the tent. Our trailer is the 6x12 with the 12' tent. We have all our gear in weatherproof boxes that we load on top. I built and added the crane to the trailer tongue to load the gear boxes. It's hard to use ramps to load the trailer because of how tall it is, but I'd rather have it tall so it gives clearance under the trailer. Off road or highway the trailer follows straight as an arrow. No sway bars needed even on I90 at 80mph. Solid built and very cleverly designed. The only hard part is opening the top doors when folding out the tent. That's the other reason I built the crane, I can lift the doors with it.
I bought a 6x12 Blackout edition trailer. It is so freaking sweet. I really enjoy how convenient it is to town and have a built in tent within the trailer. It fits a can-am Maverick X3 on top, it is a bit tight on the sides but was easily able to get it up and down.
OUTSTANDING TRAILER. me and my girlfriend got one a little while back and have loved it so much. It’s made really nicely. We recently got stuck in around 60-80mph winds and the tent held up strongly all night long. Past experiences other tents have came apart and ripped. Super incredible tent/trailer best purchase ever. Thankyou jumping jack!
Bought our 6x8 Jumping Jack new in 2007. It has been in 46 of the lower 48 states missing South Carolina and Florida. It is simple and rugged, being made of mostly canvas and steel. Takes under 5 minutes to set up. At one point, my wife, five kids, and I lived in it for three weeks straight during one of our cross-country camping expeditions. I can also tow it with my Jeep; the trailer is light and does fine on moderate off-road trails. It fits in the garage, and is inexpensively! registered as a utility trailer. The tent part slides out for use as a utility trailer, and thentop can be used for hauling ATVs, motorcycles, and small boats. After many years of ownership, I'm convinced that this thing will last far longer than I will!
Compact, convenient, goes everywhere easily, then pops up in minutes when you need it! We've used it in rain and in freezing weather using a small vented propane heater, but it really shines in the other seasons. Allows you to have outdoor fun year-round!
Not impressed with their sales staff online. Passive aggressive and rude. They overcharge on their accessories. It costs $95 for a "boat bar" that goes over the back of the trailer. They charge $175 for a rubber insert for the kitchenette. Overpriced which everybody on the net has been saying. Buy used, no need to buy a new one from a dealer. There's plenty of used ones listed online.
They were professional and took the time to set up and walk is thru the entire trailer. Amazing products and we're going to buy one.
Such a great way to conserve space and makes towing a bike and camper easy
